Same for me, that's the 2nd one I've got now, right time for me to empty and move out of Nationwide, then see if I can get Issue 3 of Flex Regular
  • Got my money out of Nationwide and into Santander but can't seem to move it internally into the savings account I want it in, meh.

Also it seems I'm too early to apply for the Nationwide Flex Issue 3.

I've closed the regular saver but the money has not yet arrived into my Santander account. I'm hoping it will be there in the morning

Internally transferred an amount to move onwards via Chase, which shows as today, so that can head there in the morning to be parked in their Saver at double the rate Nationwide are now paying.

Have left the rest in the Instant Access 10 until Monday - destination Principality and Saffron accounts which are payees on my Nationwide current account.

I forget which building societies credit and start paying interest on deposits at the weekend.

    Re. Melton:

Has anyone tried opening this account without using a cheque?

    I don’t believe I currently have a chequebook.

@BestSeagull I believe you mentioned you may try to do so upthread (https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/comment/80985704#Comment_80985704?utm_source=community-search&utm_medium=organic-search&utm_term=melton+cheque)
Yes, it was no problem at all. I sent the postal application in. Followed up by phone and got the account number that way. Did test transfer of £1. Called again to confirm it had arrived and sent the rest. Was also given online access details by phone.

    Nationwide

    All matured (£115.02 interest)
    All funds removed
Attempted to open the Flex Saver Issue 3 at 6.5% and am a little early.

    Will try again later

    Re Nationwide RS.

I closed my account yesterday afternoon. All monies were in my TSB account in minutes. Just now I've been able to open the RS3 and funded it.

My Nationwide regular saver is now showing as an instant access saver 10, but it will not allow me to open a new 6.5% regular saver yet.

Will it update later today or will it be 24 hours as their message says?

Same here (though I used a different bank for my matured funds)

Not saying NW will pay a loyalty £100 next year, what with the takeover of VM.

But as well as a current account a savings account is also needed (minimum £100).
