@premierfella, you’re right the link does show Feb 24 & going directly to their website it shows the Feb 24 rates. It was definitely showing September 2024 when I looked last night & again this morning, I wish I had screenshotted it now & not just posted a link as proof. I bet they’re going to reduce it now 😪, hopefully only by .25% as it is a good one to have0

Has been discussed in the Top Easy Access Discussion Thread.Rob_Wills said:Ulster Bank have announced 0.45% cut from 14 October.
Taking a one year fixed rate at 5.5% back in June was a wise move.3 -
Does anyone know/remember how quickly the money from Monmouthshire BS regular savers takes to hit a bank account upon maturity?
The 7% and 8% accounts I opened last year are maturing on 30th August, but thinking of possibly closing them a couple days early to get the money back so I can fund some other regular savers before September starts (if there's going to be a delay of a few days in them sending the money after maturity).0 -
For the Coronation saver matured 27th April (Sat) the money arrived late afternoon on the 29th (Mon). Like you my 8% matures on the 30th, but given it's a Friday whilst it's possible they could arrive on the Sat, I'm not going to rely on that and am assuming I won't receive funds until Mon 2nd, so will use other funds for my 1st of the month RS payments and replenish that account once the Monmouthshire funds arrive.t1redmonkey said:Does anyone know/remember how quickly the money from Monmouthshire BS regular savers takes to hit a bank account upon maturity?

Mine was opened 29/8/23 so I assume it will mature 29/8/24 hopefully. Need the money to fund other regular savers like t1redmonkey.
If I don't get the money by 30/8, I might change the dates of some standing orders to 3/9.

I applied for both 7 & 8% on the 23rd but the 8% shows online that it wasn't opened until first monies credited on the 30th, therefore it presumably matures on the 30th which I think leaves it too tight for funding beginning of month savers, hence the decision to withdraw some EA money to be available for the RSs and then refill that account once the Monmouthshire funds do land. My 7% which took even longer to open, should mature a few days later.Speculator said:

Aldermore have announced a series of rate reductions from 3/9/24 (Thanks @FIREmenow for pointing this out in the EA thread).
Of note though is that their Regular Saver Account Issue 1 is not listed as having its rate changed on 3/9/24 and is thus currently set to remain at 5.25% for the time being.6 -
A trend seems to be emerging of "no change" to variable rate regular saver accounts following the August base rate reduction of 0.25%. Unlikely of course to remain the case if/when further base rate cuts take place.Bridlington1 said:Aldermore have announced a series of rate reductions from 3/9/24 (Thanks @FIREmenow for pointing this out in the EA thread).
