It appears they have added additional online accounts one of which is a regular saver only paying 4%
They only exclude Northern Ireland and the RS pays 4.75%1 -

I had no issue opening my account but my wife did.
Her account number ended in a X and led to reference not recognised tried several banks with the same result the authentication app Salesforce failed to issue any acceptable codes had to use the Google authentication app.
Opened a easy excess account then attempted payment from BOS it's approval process said I needed to change payee from the Progessive to the name on the account payment was successful then transferred the £300 then made a internal transfer to regular-saverMy Progressive account number ends with an X also.No prob though making a transfer from Halifax0 -
Progressive BS Online Saver (7.0%)
Just opened and funded one of these accounts too. Looks like they don’t actually process these faster payment bank transfers until the next banking day, if it’s not received between 10am and 3pm. So might be one of those accounts that you probably don’t want to pay in until the first working day of the month (e.g like the other building societies such as Skipton and Saffron)?0 -

i feel like they only seem to be progressive by name…
I received the call from them when it didn’t like my ID, they told me my ID was fine and to try register again and to click “don’t have photo ID” so it will flag their end and they will accept it. I get all the way through the registration process and after picking marketing preferences it gives me another error.
I don’t expect to hear anything from them now till Monday… feels like this has been the most error registration I have had 😅
I've had a lot of difficulty too and after finally getting to the end of the registration part and submitting, I got that same error message on the marketing preferences page.

Gers said:Progressive - I've struggled to add my nominated account so phoned their online support team. Seems that the don't have many of the UK (and in my case Scottish) banks set up on their system. The very helpful agent said she'd add in my sort code. I think that they are very busy after this account was posted here!I've logged in this morning, tried the nominated account process and it worked this time. So they are working through the issues, well done to them! For 7% a few glitches are bearable.Much more annoying for me was being unable to open Leeds BS accounts (when I did want to) despite being logged in. Eventually gave up.0

Progressive BS: submitted request for application pack via enquiry form on 10th of June and left for the continent, when I got back home on the 14th, the application pack with pre-paid enveloppe was waiting for me. I send the form the following Tuesday and left for the continent again. Came back on 28th and found the passbook. Opened and funded 7% RS without any issues via debit card. Even better than expected - this should help to spend £500 for Halifax bonus.0

Progressive BS
is it just me or has the 7% regular saver disappeared from their website?
