Had my Club Lloyds RS mature yesterday and got a little more interest that I expected £165.34, funds moved about and new RS started this morning and funded

I had a letter from PBS the other day about this regular saver, where I had elected to close the RS at maturity and transfer funds to my current account. The letter states that "your funds wil be transferred to your nominated account on 9th June 2024." This seems unlikely bearing in mind the 9th is a Sunday. Does anyone have any experience of PBS accounts maturing over the weekend and whether they do pay out over the weekend, or next working day?

Been trying to open a new Saffron Members Month Regular Saver (via the website) - all I get is a reference number, no followup/confirmation email, and no new account showing on the website or in the app.

Anybody else having issues? Or should I just be a little more patient?

I received an email almost instantly telling me my Saffron Members Month Regular Saver a/c was open. Perhaps message them, after checking your sp@m box...
Phoned them up. When setting up the account you need to link to a current account, and it looks like they do a confirmation of payee check, and for some reason it was flagged. From speaking to a human to getting the account open email took about 8 minutes.

I've had several Regular Saver accounts with PBS in recent years. I can remember one RS maturing on a Saturday, with the funds landing in my nominated current account by 00.15hrs on the Sunday. However, when my last PBS RS account matured on a Saturday, the funds weren't in my current account until Monday.

Just checked my Saffron app, Maturity Manager showing up for my 9% Members Month account, shows up with my instruction to go into my Easy Access Saffron account and the amount on 5th June will be £629.75 in total.😊🙂
My account has matured today, £629.75 as stated by maturity manager & transferred to my Saffron Easy Access as instructed, also requested a payout from said account to my nominated account, hopefully that will turn up in a few hours.

Guess next step is to open the new 8% version 😁
Got my money in my nominated account, filled application earlier this evening, got a reference number, maybe they will open it tomorrow?

Mine matures on 15th June and they have told me they will be paying the proceeds into my nominated account on 15th June ( a Saturday).........so that's exactly what I'm expecting.

Did you need to include certified copy of your ID with the application pack for the branch saver?

Re Progressive; I rang them a week or so ago, and they confirmed they definitely will not do electronic ID checks, only certified copies.  Unfortunately, I'd have to pay for certified copies (Bridlington1 said a while back that they have access to free certified copies).

Once funds have arrived from my Skipton MBS I'll make a deposit into the account by faster payment so should be able to give an indication as to how quick deposits are in due course. One other thing to note is that you can also make deposits into this account by debit card if you wish.
I sent my opening deposit at about 9am, I've just logged into online banking and the funds have arrived so funds seem to arrive pretty quickly considering you have to give your account number as a reference.

    EDIT:
The option to set a nominated account for withdrawals appears once you've made your initial deposit.
