They are very slow. I made a faster payment on Thursday night at 1 and it appeared on line 12 hours later (not bad for a ... faster payment). On Friday morning I called them and was told they could see the payment in the system but it hadn't been processed yet. Phone them on monday morning. Payments with debit card take 3 days . Faster payments sent during day are usually shown in less than an hour, but those done during night or in the evening may appear many hours laterRosieRooBear said:Hi all, I made my £250 monthly payment into the Skipton 7% regular saver yesterday (1st March) but it’s not yet showing in my Skipton account, I thought it would have shown up by today. Can anyone else who has the Skipton account and made a manual transfer yesterday see the payment in their account? Thank you 😊

Thank you @francoghezzi, yes I made ‘a faster payment’ very early on Friday, I’ll wait until normal working hours for the April payment. I’ve even checked the payment details at least four times to make they were correct, lol. I’ll definitely ring them on Monday to make sure it’s been received.1

They are always very slow but do credit the payment eventually, dated the working day it was sent, or the next working day if sent on a non-working day. My March deposit made by SO on March 1 is still not showingRosieRooBear said:Hi all, I made my £250 monthly payment into the Skipton 7% regular saver yesterday (1st March) but it’s not yet showing in my Skipton account, I thought it would have shown up by today. Thanks @friolento, I think I was worrying more as my last months payment showed up the next day, at least I’m not the only one 😊0

Did a manual transfer to Skipton on the 1st for my R/S, at about 7.00am.
It was showing up around 14.00pm.
Gaterhouse took until 16.00pm and that was a SO.
Gatehouse goes through Barclays so take more time.

I have potentially the opposite issue in that I manually transferred March’s money just after midnight on Friday morning and it’s showing as received Thursday - giving me two February payments.
I’m not sure if Skipton have invented time travel or just moved to a different time zone to the UK….2 -
Skipton also goes through Barclays. Many BS credits do. The money sits in a Barclays account belonging to Skipton until Skipton run a batch program to process it.Bigwheels1111 said:Did a manual transfer to Skipton on the 1st for my R/S, at about 7.00am.

Just to add to the conundrum, SO from Santander CA went out to Skipton RS on Friday 1st, still not showing as received today? No problem 1st February!
I won't bother contacting them unless it doesn't appear sometime tomorrow.Compiler of the RS League Table.

For a self proclaimed 'ethical' bank with a Which Eco Provider award the Co-operative seem to generate an awful lot of paper correspondence.
My new regular saver has so far produced 2 emails, which would have been sufficient alone, and three letters in the post:
TB04 dated 22 February
TB90 dated 24 February
RG04 dated 27 February
I hope that is the end of it. I wondered if perhaps I had missed a tick-box for paperless correspondence but it seems others on here are receiving similar.
