    I've just done a current account switch from Nationwide to NatWest for the £200 bonus.
    I have a Nationwide Flex Regular saver with a few months to run @ 7%
    Terms say it needs a Flex current account or they MAY convert to an instant saver.
    Anyone know if they enforce this in practise?
    Sorry can't say for sure as never attempted this sort of move. I do think you are taking a risk though, as you say the T&C are clear. Best of luck.
    I choose the rooms that I live in with care,
    The windows are small and the walls almost bare,
    There's only one bed and there's only one prayer;
    I listen all night for your step on the stair.

    I don't have the answer, but even if I had it won't be helpful because you've already done it.  Let us know the result when you know it.  Generally speaking, switching an account that can jeopardise your other accounts is not a good practice.  You can always create current accounts for switching purposes and leave the important ones to run.

    The terms of the regular saver are clear, whether they will enforce them, who knows. Open a new Flex Account and avoid any potential problems.

    That's not a bad idea - mind you, I was trying to reduce the number of account I have lying around!

    Anyone else just got an email from Cambridge BS telling them about the 'FCSC' coverage on their Regular Saver? Not sure how that slipped through in proofing! Minor typo, but really stood out in the email I thought.

    I thought I had been in a correct batch when I found my email and it had FSCS in the subject. But alas not.

    I got an email yesterday saying that SRBS are rebranding (dropping the Railway) and changing their colour scheme from today. I preferred the old colours to be honest, the new looks too similar to MBS for me. Though I hope this means I can now login as I must be about to have my online portal access blocked due to the login texts not arriving twice in succession on the old system.

    Thanks for flagging re SRBS. This must also be coming in batches, as I haven't heard anything yet. Sad they are dropping the Railway bit - I liked their old logo.

    I never knew they were intending a re-brand (Ipswich consulted on Suffolk etc). Not convinced members would be overly happy - strong tradition of it being the railworkers' society. And all those puns in the Summary Financials of "being on the right track" ad "steaming along) will no longer be apt...
