So Skipton's app isn't working but online access is?

Can't see why this would be more than a "tut" level inconvenience.
A previous post explained that you need an app-based OTP to withdraw using their web service, even to an existing nominated account. And people may not want to conduct financial transactions over the phone, to keep their secure details as secret as possible or because of the complexity of start-of-month financial shufflings. A bit more inconvenient than needing to tut.
Ah, missed that post about the app being the only source of OTP once you've registered.

I upgrade my tut to full-blown very annoying, fortunate that my Skipton accounts are in hold mode at the moment.

The Skipton app is finally working for me. They must have fixed the issue (for me at least). When I tried again it first asked me to re-register the app using my details, then sent me an authorisation code and then I had access.

Yesterday morning when I tried to do the online transfer, neither were working. Glad to hear online has come back

I made my usual payment to Skipton yesterday, but couldn't access the app to transfer to the Reg saver.
Just logged on to on-line banking to transfer the payment, and they've done it themselves.
Maybe they're thinking this will prevent complaints about loss of interest if the app is down for an extended period.
Very unusual for them to assume this was the intended destination of the payment though.
I don’t see why they would have moved your money to prevent interest loss. Skipton doesn’t even allow withdrawals (including internal transfers) on non-business days, so it’s better to fund the regular saver directly. An internal transfer performed on 01 Jan 2024 would have been processed (automatically) on 02 Jan 2024; are you sure you didn’t do this yourself? I don’t recall the app experiencing problems on Monday.

Think you're probably right. Seems likely the outage got me distracted along with all the other first of month payments.

The HEBS Online Regular Saver at 5.5% is now NLA.

The application link still appears to be showing when logged into online banking though so it may still be possible to open it if you're quick.

As expected, these days good offerings are short lived and need to be grabbed asap.

Mansfield Kick Start Regular Saver Issue 7 at 6.1% is now NLA. It has been replaced by a Bonus Regular Saver Issue 8 at the same rate.

    A few things to note:
    • Account is branch/post only though can be viewed online
    • Interest rate is 6.1% variable including a bonus of 1.85% for 12 months, unlike the Kick Start RS which was 6.1% fixed for 12 months.
    • Max deposit £250 per calendar month
    • Minimum monthly deposit is £10, though 2 payments can be missed every 12 months
    • Available to existing customers with 1 years continuous membership and residents of Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire or South Yorkshire
    • 2 withdrawals permitted per year including closure, else a penalty of 90 days interest will be applied to the amount withdrawn
I've requested the form for issue 7 already, didn't get it yet. Now requested the form for issue 8. Hopefully this one will stay on the shelf for a bit longer than issue 7.
