Hi Folks,
Happy New Year!
I have updated the first page of this thread.
- Coventry BS Regular Saver (Issue 6) replaces issue 5 and is paying a lower interest rate of 5% but the terms and conditions of issue 6 permit internal transfers from other Coventry accounts
- Principality BS Healthy Habits Saver Bond added, paying 6% on up to £50 per month for 2 years, no early withdrawals except for account closure, you cannot make more deposits once the balance reaches £1,200
- Leeds BS Regular Saver (Issue 48) replaces issue 47 with the same details except that the issue 48 maturity date is 4th January 2026
- Chorley BS Regular Saver (30.11.24) replaces the 31.08.24 version with the same details except that this issue matures on 30th November 2024 (and I presume that this issue will soon be replaced by another issue as the 30.11.24 issue had to be funded by yesterday)
- Tipton and Coseley BS Fixed Rate Regular Saver until 31.10.24 removed as account no longer available
- West Brom BS Adult's Fixed Rate Regular Saver (Issue 6) removed as account no longer available (as opposed to this account West Brom BS Fixed Rate Regular Saver (Issue 7) which is still available)
- Coventry BS Loyalty Regular Saver removed as account no longer available
- Santander Regular eSaver Account (Issue 18) replaces issue 17 and I cannot see anything that has changed. I was wondering whether you could open an issue 18 if you already have a previous issue and I am not sure. The terms and conditions state "You can have one of these accounts and it must be in your sole name." and my interpretation is that means you can only have one account of any issue.
I will do the next update in the next 2 weeks.SS2
For those new to this thread, the first few posts are regularly updated and are on the first page

Anyone know of a tool, other than https://www.thecalculatorsite.com/finance/calculators/compoundinterestcalculator.php, into which we can put the date of transactions, the transaction amount, and the rate of interest between certain dates to check the right amount was paid please? Thanks
If you are happy to use an App based compound interest calculator then I can recommend “Compound Interest Calc” found at https://apps.apple.com/gb/app/compound-interest-calc/id543747638
I can't tell from the description/screenshots, but does that app allow additional deposits to be entered with variable amounts/frequency, as well as changes to interest rates (i.e. like a variable rate savings account), effectively mirroring a real account?

Just received 6% RS account number from West Brom. When calling to set up online access, do you need to do the process once for each account number or will they link both accounts to your profile behind the scenes?Thanks0

It's just the one PIN for online access. You can use any of your account numbers to log in, and you'll see all of your accounts. (Their online FAQ, which states you must log in with each account number individually, is incorrect.)
