Club Lloyds and standard Lloyds monthly savers reduced to 1.5% and 1% respectively. Halifax regular saver also fallen to 1%.
There's now clear blue water between the First Direct, HSBC and M&S savers (still at 2.75%) and any others which are available online. Only a matter of time before they follow suit?

Most of these packs are sent out automatically by computer generated info...IanManc said:
The address they were asked to send the application pack to might give them a clue though. 🙄
They probably don't know where the applicant lives until they get the filled out application form.0 -
I'll let you think about it for longer; see if the penny drops.IanManc said:

I actually rang and spoke to a nice lady on the phone, who posted the pack to me, that's why I'm wondering whether it might be possible to get the account opened, if they're not that hot on it... Seems a lot of hassle though, if they just end up returning it all to me.soulsaver said:

So Ernie told them where he lived, and they posted the form to him there.ernie-money said:

Hi Folks,
Here is this weekend's update to this thread.- Mansfield BS Young Regular Saver (2nd issue) terms and conditions updated to show this account is for locals onlyI have deliberately not been including their 150th Anniversary Regular Savings (5th issue) account as the 1.2% variable interest rate is below the threshold that I use for including accounts on this list.I will do the next update next weekend.
