On the 21st October, £72.39 was added in interest. That same interest amount is showing today, only the date of the interest being added has been changed from 21st to the 31st October.friolento said:dekkard said:I have a YBS Christmas 23 Regular Saver which matures tomorrow.
10 days ago, the interest was added to the account.
Today I notice that the interest entry is still there and the interest amount is unchanged but the date has been changed from 21st October to today (31st October).
Has anyone else seen this? Seems like an error.
Same change for me. Unless the amount of interest is incorrect, it won't be an error. My interest is correct.
So no interest was earned between 21-31st October?0

The interest for the total period is £72.39. You can use the MSE RS calculator to work out how much it should be, give or take a few pence. depending on when you made your deposits.
Why they credited the amount 10 days ago is a mystery but we had not earned £72.39 then.

            YBS RS 1st deposit
Has anyone had issues making an initial deposit to YBS Loyalty Regular esaver 2023? I opened one yesterday, but didn't fund it immediately. I'm keen to make an October payment and then a 1st Nov payment to get £1000 in from the start.
I logged into the website today to find that "deposits weren't available" (by debit card) but they provided sort code/account/roll to make a faster payment, which I did. Halifax warned me it couldn't match my account, but I double checked everything and made the payment anyway. Nothing showing in YBS yet
Since checked on YBS app and found a deposit option via Payit which connects to my bank to pull the payment in. Tempted to do this to guarantee an October payment, but then what will happen if the original payment shows up later/tomorrow with today's date, therefore having two payments in October? Big problem, or not at all?0

Not sure what you are doing.
I just made a payment directly into the regular saver.
Then set up a Direct Debit from my bank.Go to your YBS reg saver, click on it.
Top right Green i, click it.
Account number and sort code are shown.
Transfer £500 tonight and £500 tomorrow.
Then on the 2nd set up a dd for the 1st of December.0

I should have been more patient... deposit now showing in YBS dated 31st Oct so all set to make second deposit tomorrow.0

Presumably you mean a Standing Order.Bigwheels1111 said:Not sure what you are doing.

My Principality BS Christmas Regular Saver account matures on 11th November and I have been offered a new Christmas Loyalty RS at 6.25%. I have decided to open a loyalty account.Bridlington1 said:
If my memory serves me well Principality BS, Monmouthshire BS and YBS offered Christmas regular savers last year in that order. I can't think of any others that did last year though.Reg_Smeeton said:Who are the usual suspects for “Christmas Saver” RS accounts? I could do with opening something in the next month or so for the next rung in my RS “ladder” but I’ve run out of competitive accounts that I’m eligible for… nice problem to have I know!0

Could be wrong but I don't remember Principality BS offering maturity loyal accounts in the past . Is it a recent thing with them?0

Might well be. I had a previous year’s version which I kept at lowish balance (the rate became uncompetitive quite early on thankfully) and there was no Loyalty offering. The accounts offered in the maturity paperwork were either underwhelming or open to everyone.Growingold said:Could be wrong but I don't remember Principality BS offering maturity loyal accounts in the past . Typical, the year I close early to fund a fix = loyalty offering!4
