No response so far at all so I am really wondering how incompetent they are. Got both of the reg savers, asked them about pay in cut off times and about a potential date correction. No response whatsoever, so really out of my probably 60 accounts with many providers overall the worst ones I have came across. After phonong Monmouth (helpful as always), I downloaded a pdf bank statement and posted it off. I haven't heard anything from them, but your post reminded me, so I've just logged in. My bank account status is listed as 'approved for transfers.' Job done.Yes, their processes take longer than the ideal, but I now effectively have a £600 a month 7 and a half percent reg saver, and don't have to contact them again for nearly a year. Very happy.

Re TSB Regular Saver. I tried applying for one several times earlier this year and kept getting refused, even though the previous one had matured. After several phone calls and asking to log a formal complaint, they gave me £25 compensation.1

Opened my last TSB one 14th October 2022 (was closed by Christmas), applied today and had the 'there is an existing contract' error message. Will try again in 5 days and report back!

I tried applying for the TSB Regular Saver account today as my last one matured 6/7/23. I had a message to say I wasn't eligible so trying to find out more. I do have a current account with them and am of an appropriate age so not sure what the issue isSave £12k in 2022 #54 reporting for duty0

TSB.
I tried opening the new reg saver online this morning they told me there was a problem. Last reg saver account ended end of September so I should qualify. I tried again and got the not eligible message and a feedback form which I duly completed with rubbish scores. I logged back into TSB to find the new reg saver opened and ready to roll.
So, my suggestion is even though you get an error or you don't qualify message......just check the account isn't actually sitting there open, ready & waiting for you.2 -

- This is a 12 month bond
- Pay in £25 - £250 per calendar month
- Maximum investment is £3,000
- The account is available to new and existing TSB current account holders only
- The account can be opened online or in branch
- Manage the account online, branch, mobile app or via telephone
- Unlimited penalty-free withdrawals permitted
Further details, here.
I don't usually ask for an overdraft when opening new bank accounts, but their process was a bit different to the usual, whereby it said "check if you're eligible" and was surprised it offered £650.

My ybs loyalty regular esaver is maturing, it says the money will go into the 6 access esaver, is it possible to have it paid into another account please? My saver 13 has a better rate or would i need to wait for it to go into this and then transfer it again please?
Also to anyone that has had it, can you roughly let me know how much interest you get, its had multiple interest rate increases so I'm not sure how much to expect. I put in £500 each month

When mine matured I just let it cross into the 6AS then transferred out, since this was what the t&c's were that I signed up to. Payment was transferred out the next day. The difference on 4.15% and the rate you will be getting in your 'other' account for one day doesn't make it worth worrying about.
I got £183 but mine matured in July. You'll likely get a bit more than this as you will have had a longer period at a higher rate than I did.

That's good to know, thank you i roughly worked out an average of £177.
I have to say I'm very impressed with YBS and all the increases they have been giving to us throughout the year.1
