This the correct post?1 -
Back in February it was suggested that you read the NEWBIES thread.
Now, seven months later, you are saying you can't find the NEWBIES thread.
Here is a link to the second post on the NEWBIES thread where it tells you how to react when receiving a Letter of Claim.
There is so much more in that NEWBIES thread that you will definitely need to know.

Thank you - I will read this and will send a SAR email to the parking firm, as well as informing Civil Enforcement of this. As mentioned by timeouts on this thread, should I hold off asking for a breakdown of the £182 until the SAR has been received?KeithP said:Back in February it was suggested that you read the NEWBIES thread.

Do both, a SAR will not explain the fake add-on because they don't want you to knowImranU95 said:

What difference is there between 'the parking firm' and 'Civil Enforcement'? Have I missed something?ImranU95 said:

Read it all. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

My apologies - I meant Civil Enforcement. I’m getting myself confused but they sent it on to ZZPS to recover the funds. ZZPS have no longer sent me anything since I ignored their letters. So I will only have to send Civil Enforcement an SAR I believe. I will double check this..Umkomaas said:

SAR sent to the parking firm. Now I will return the letter they sent asking for a breakdown of the £182. However, when filling the form out, do I select the box that states “I owe some of the debt, but not all of it” or “I dispute the debt” and then ask for a breakdown?0

You owe then NOTHING unless a judge says you do. Have you complained to your MP?You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0
