Annoyed?  Yes, I understand that.  Ripped off?  No.  You bought valid visas at a time when they were required.  You've been unfortunate, but not ripped off.

Just to change the scenario a little.  If the Visa prices had increased in between your purchase and date of travel you wouldn't have been asked to pay the difference.  No doubt you'd have recognised that and been a bit more generous when you came to bartering with local Turkish shop-keepers.

Maybe Turkey didnt inform anyone pf the changes hence it was noted on direct.gov.

I brought Turkey visas last week a few days before they released you don't need a visa anymore to enter Turkey from the UK and paid on credit card  and it was $146  that was paid on a Halifax clarity card so £104. I've been told they won't refund me. I'd there any way to get a refund? As I don't think it's really fair that I am organized and got them 88 days before we are going ( middle of may)
