Two factor security has nothing to do with this. I can't remember if I have them both or not and no way of finding out. Again, my Win 10 email account accepts BOTH gmail accounts no problem, hence the problem is Thunderbird.0

I fail to see reports of anybody else having the same problems as you with Thunderbird and Gmail. Considering you ignored the parts about App passwords in this thread, that is probably what the issue was:
