I wrote you 3 times already that the second account might have 2FA enabled. To find out whether the account has 2FA enabled, follow this link from grumbycrab's postIf you get the message "This setting is not available for accounts with 2-Step Verification enabled. Such accounts require an application-specific password for less secure apps access", then you have 2FA enabled and you need to follow https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/185833?hl=en . If not, then turn on "Allow less secure accounts" and try again in Thunderbird. After you tried everything above, report back what worked or what worked not, including error messages.

Again, I try this in Pop3 mode also and get the same "unable to log in at server, probably wrong configuration, username or password" message. I use the EXACT same email and password for the Win 10 email and it accepts it no problem. The problem is with Thunderbird.0 -
Not 100% sure but I think you may need to specify an App Password for that app. The same password as used for Windows Mail may not work.0

I have 6 gmail accounts set up on Thunderbird working absolutely fine. Clearly the problem is that Mozilla has something against the number 2.So just set up another 4 gmail accounts and you'll be good to go.Alternatively ... when you added the second gmail account did you use Oauth2? You should have got a Google popup asking if you wanted to give TB access. Since you've strung out this thread so painfully I can't be bothered to check every post to see if you've mentioned it. Guide here (for Linux but I think it's the same on Windows)

Sorry, I do not know what you mean by "Oauth2! I had no message.
Looks like I will have to settle for logging into my 2 gmail accounts via Google. Easy enough and I can't see what Thunderbird offers more than this (when working properly) My main concern was getting all my folders (some with email business purchase receipts) from my live mail archive into a new retrievable storage program in Win 10.0 -
Mozilla Thunderbird is the best email client for Windows, plus it is free. You can also configure the mail with online email clients such as Gmail, WebMail, etc. Another best part is that you can move your content to Thunderbird in EML format.0

If you put your general location in your Profile, somebody here may be able to come and help you.0 -
