Abbafan you can just 'freeze' your membership until groups reopen if you want to.

The BBQ'd chicken was lovely and moist but as it was only a small one there's isn't much left so will get stirred into the chicken curry we'll be having for dinner tomorrow night!  Had planned on doing just cold chicken & chips but not enough left.

Yes, I had read somewhere about freezing membership on a Facebook group, but my consultant never mentioned anything about this.  Just said when my access to the website and app would expire and said I would still be kept in the private Facebook group.  To be honest I did use the app but not the website so much.

Its the whole of SW so do it to protect yourself i say x

I'm sure Asda will soon be well stocked abbafan. If I were you, I'd write a meal plan (including snacks) and a shopping list. Try to use up what you have (feed anything synful to others) and then just walk down to Asda and buy what you need. 😉

I will message my consultant and see what she says.  I'm guessing they don't advertise the fact, as they want you to pay the £2.50 for the virtual group (that's the synical me talking), but I'll see what she says.

Morning everyone, sorry I've not been about. Hope you're all coping OK.

    Chieveley
my WI for Saturday was 1/2 lb loss - no idea how I managed that!

I really want to try to be more 'present' this week - I've been wfh for two weeks now with actually very little to do, yet I seem to spend all day scrolling through facebook and news apps and feeling despondent. Even coming on here would be a much better use of time! I've already done my online yoga session this morning and had breakfast, now I'm going to move my work desk setup off the dining table and to the spare room upstairs, I can keep an eye on emails coming in whilst I sort out my wool and fabric in there.

I think I'm going to have to try a midweek mid-afternoon shop this week - I went at 4pm on Friday and it was ten to six by the time I came out the other end, and by that time the queue was tiny :s The only things I couldn't get that I wanted were eggs and a butternut squash (very first world problems I know!), and there was still no pasta but I'm OK for that. I even managed to get paracetamol for Granny!

    Today:
B- Toast, butter (5), banana, apple, clementine
D - Jacket potatoes with garlic mushrooms
T - Speedy Quorn bolognese with wholemeal spaghetti
HEA - Milk, bit of cheese on my bolognese
    HEB - Toast
    Syns - Butter (5), sugar in coffee (4), hot chocolate (2) = 11

Right, I'd better get to work!

Good to see you posting again Tete.  I think it does help to keep us accountable, especially at the moment with no groups going on.  I'm not doing the virtual ones either.

Think I spent too long in the garden in the sun yesterday and my face is very red so need to be a bit more careful I think!  Still it's meant to be cooler today and also some rain, we haven't got that yet but it is forecast.

    So today's plan:

B - baked oats, mixed frozen fruit, Greek yoghurt - HEB; P; S
    L - patatas bravas, salad - F; S
D - chicken curry and rice - P; F; S; 6 (allowing Syns for oil as my DD1s partner, who's a chef, made it so I'm sure there will be oil in it and not Frylight, LOL!

    HEA - milk
    HEB - oats
Syns - oil 6; possibly a couple of Biscoff later with my coffee 4

    Stay safe.

Well ironing done, going to do some cooking in a min, just need to look for something first, that's like finding a needle in a haystack!! 🤣🤣🤣
Denise although it was nice here yesterday it wasn't hot, but there was quite a wind, the sun is out here now, didn't think the rain would last long :D
