Abbafan, are your shops not back to normal? ours are mainly back to normal, def full of fruit and veg, the one thing i wanted in aldi i didn't see were seafood sticks
You can only do your best x
    Hi bubbs,
Mostly back to normal, but it's hard to plan as I'm at home rather than at work, so I find that boredom gets the better of me.
Shopping is a bit of chore obviously because you often have to queue for nearly an hour and I am obviously following the Government's advice and only going out if absolutely necessary and not just because I'm bored.
Has anyone been able to get Grape Nuts?  I haven't been able to get them since all of this started and I miss having them for my breakfast.

I'd say that my Aldi (with the one exception of porage oats) was back to normal this week.
Use us as your group abbafan. We've all got the time (enforced) to help you. Is it because you're not at work that you want to snack? What about making something like a pasta salad that you could snack on? Personally I'm finding it a little bit easier as I can't eat out.
    What does ppr'd mean bubbs?

Abbafan, i am at home too, i get up 6.30, shower/dressed (was 5.30 but dh hours have changed) take him work, come home, if im hungry i have breakfast, if not i do my jobs first, tomorrow is ironing 🙄 i will then get what ever we are having for dinner ready and do what ever else i have planned, then its lunch time :D then i usually put hoover over, or look on here before i fetch dh, have to leave here 1.30 now.
Try and have a plan for your day so it seems worthwhile IYKWIM?
When i went Sainsburys i thought bloody hell at the que, it was round the car park, but actually from joing the que, to getting my shopping and back in the car was 45 mins. I am afraid it's going to be the normal for a long while :( The trouble is we are used to instant, i am afraid that's gone.

Maman ppr'd is posting privileges removed :( he does not even know why

    Hi bubbs,
Being at home I think makes me want to snack, especially watching tv.  I am going to make a list of things to do and tick them off.  I know there's lots of things I wouldn't normally get done because of being at work.
When I'm at work I can't eat more than what I take with me, as there are no shops nearby as the building is on an industrial estate and I don't drive.  I am trying to keep the routine the same as possible by having a shower in the morning and getting dressed, rather than just staying in my dressing gown all day.  I need to try and speak to Jet2 if possible as our holiday that we were due to depart on 26th April has been cancelled and we haven't heard anything from them about our options.  Just about to have a Linda McCartney burger for my tea, which is relatively low syn, apart from the cob I'm having lol!

    Thanks bubbs.
I can see why you're shopping while you're out taking DH to work (no unnecessary journey 😉) but we have found for the last 2 weeks that Aldi has no queues mid afternoon, mid week. I suppose we all have to do what suits us best. 🙂

I would love to go to Aldi more often but we don't have one that near without a car journey, which I need hubby for that (he is still at work but expecting to be Furlough'd after Easter break).  Our local supermarket is Asda, literally at the bottom of our road.

Abbafan you can just 'freeze' your membership until groups reopen if you want to.

The BBQ'd chicken was lovely and moist but as it was only a small one there's isn't much left so will get stirred into the chicken curry we'll be having for dinner tomorrow night!  Had planned on doing just cold chicken & chips but not enough left.

Yes i usually go Aldi before i pick DH but wanted to go Sains as wanted to pick something up from Argos instore so killed 2 birds with one stone.
Abbafan, don't matter where i shop i have to go in the car as have to get on the dual to either of them, Asda is nearer dh's work and i used to do lots of shopping there when they did there price guarantee, but not now, go Aldi :D

Evening, sorry Chievely I forgot to post, but it is the inevitable +1b, I think with having everyone at home I'm finding it hard to stick to plan as there is always someone asking what they can have to eat so I am constantly thinking of snacks etc to make to fill 3 hungry adult males and I succumb too. Also OH is taking over a lot of the cooking as he is bored so on those days there are never good choices.

Yes, I had read somewhere about freezing membership on a Facebook group, but my consultant never mentioned anything about this.  Just said when my access to the website and app would expire and said I would still be kept in the private Facebook group.  To be honest I did use the app but not the website so much.
