With with you Maman.  I'm not a lover of chocolate cake!

Morning all!  Another lovely day so more washing getting done.  Decided it's time my doormats had another wash, especially the one from the motorhome as a lot of the places we stayed at were quite sandy so I'm sure it'll be full of sand and gritty bits.  Might also get my bedroom curtains down and washed too.

    Today's plan:

B - scrambled eggs on toast - P; HEB (forgot to get my spinach out from the freezer, even though I remembered the fruit which I don't actually need until tomorrow morning but will probably have for pud later!)
    L - jacket potato, beans, salad - F; S
D - beef with mushrooms (from freezer), mash & veg - the beef is a SlimmingEats recipe which I'll probably not bother with again.  It's OK but nothing special.  P; S; F

    HEA - milk
    HEB - bread
    Syns - none planned

Have a good day and stay safe everyone!

    Denise

Hi everyone, sorry been a bit off-grid. My workplace finally sent us home on Friday - one working day before full lockdown but hey-ho. I can work from home but I think I mentioned there's not a lot for me to do at the moment with everything cancelled for the foreseeable. I had a feeling lockdown was coming on Monday so I went out to get some last-minute bits for myself and granny, the shops were much better stocked and quieter than of late and I managed to get everything I wanted. Took grandma 3 bags of shopping - lots of fresh fruit and veg as well as some frozen ready meals and such, long life milk, plus a bottle of booze and some chocolate. 12 hours later (and after the lockdown) she rings up asking for cheese and onion crisps - honestly she drives me to distraction.

Anyway, weighed in on Saturday with a 2lb gain as expected - sorry I'm late Chieveley

Have spent the last couple of days eating crisps and refreshing news apps, but today I'm determined to be more productive. I'm always saying if only I could have a month off on full pay, all the things I'd get done - so need to make the most of it knowing that I'm being as helpful as I can be by just staying in. My seedlings are getting big so going to transplant a few of those today - I've got cherry tomatoes, radishes, broccoli and round courgettes so far

    Today's menu:
    B - apple, clementines
D - Omelette - mushrooms, onion and cheese
T - Not actually sure, might make a batch of quorn chilli

The main aim is to drink more water and stay away from the treat stash!

Hugs to all, well done to those who've lost and empathy to those who haven't - it's trying times for us stress-eaters!

Belated Happy Birthday tie. Well done for not devouring all the cake...yet.  Are you still at school? His nibs?

It occurred to me that I should find it relatively easy to maintain while we're in 'lockdown'. Usually it's eating out that derails me so provided I don't feel the need to have extra wine syns I should be OK. DD1 went shopping this morning and reports that stock is much improved including toilet rolls! I'm just treating it as a normal week as I got all the fresh foods I wanted last Friday. Hope it'll be the same this week.

Don't know if anyone's been watching Jamie Oliver (Ch4 5.30 p.m.). I've heard that Jack Munro is on Radio 5 Live at 3 p.m. this afternoon.

    Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit (F), scrambled eggs (P), HEB toast, HEA milk
L- JP (F) with cottage cheese (P), spring onions and pickled cabbage (S)
D- Austrian Ham Hash (P,S,F) with cauli, kale, cabbage (S)
    Syns- None!!

Just remembered I had a squirt of brown sauce with my breakfast so not totally syn free today. I tried to look at syn online to check the syns and got the usual (after 8+ weeks) message. Have you been to a group recently? I said no and it locked me out. Ill try texting my consultant later but not happy with this. I emailed SW a week or more ago to ask about what happens with target members, like me, who don't weigh regularly and unsurprisingly got no reply.

    Food today was
I had some of that savoury mince left and when i went in the freezer there was another little lot, so i defrosted that, added them together, herbs, garlic and chopped toms and made this yummy lasagna with butternut squash as the layers, made the cheese sauce with cauli, chicken stock and 6 laughing cow lighter (hexa) then i used 80g lighter grated cheese (2 hexa) but there is enough for 3 portions , so 1 hexa per portion
