    Afternoon all.
I hope you are all staying well and staying home.  At least the sun is shining out there, so the world does at least look lovely.

I know I've been pretty absent of late.  Lots of issues been going on at work, and I have been signed off with stress, but as of today (finally!) I have been messaged to say we are now being furloughed off work for 3 weeks.  Issues had been about our boss not taking any action at all, and asking us to remove any posters about self-care and also removing the hand sanitiser a colleague took in to help.  Talk about denial to the very last.  He waited until after everyone got the Govt email today to finally agree people could stay home from tomorrow.  Fortunately I've only been off work a day unwell, but my GP had agreed to sign me off for 2 weeks.   I have agreed to the 80% wage drop (well it was put to me that I agreed to that, or I wanted to be laid off :/ )
Subsequently my eating has been haywire and pretty much out of control.  I can see the lbs piling on :disappointed:  I know I need to take control, and I will.
OH and DS4 are key workers, but DS4 got sent home this morning because he has developed a cold.  No temperature or cough symptoms.  DS3 (who also lives at home) has had to go to work today too, but I suspect he may end up being home before long too as he is a mechanic, so not classed as essential I'm sure?

Will now have more time to chat with you all here though now I guess :D  I hope you and yours are all keeping well.  What unusual times we are living in!

That's good news sary. Look forward to hearing from you more often.
Don't you mean a 20% pay cut when you're on furlough? Not sure how it works while you're signed off sick though. Your boss sounds like a really ****! 😞

maman yup it's a 20% cut, so 80% of wages paid.  I phrased it wrongly methinks ;)
Beanie DS3 said they've had more work coming in today at his garage, so not looking like he's staying home all day any time soon.
Weather looks like it's turning colder as we head toward the weekend too, so made use of the fine weather again today by sitting outside with a cuppa for a while, and also got another load of washing done.  Decided to wash one of my coats as the weather was so fine.  Trying to keep busy, and get jobs done that I wouldn't usually have time for.

Appetite has been off whack today, and had a bit of an upset tum, so have been keeping it simple, but rather SW unfriendly, as today has been toast, and Rich Tea biscuits with cups of tea.

I am very lucky and had already got a Mr T home delivery booked for this week and next, so will ensure I have enough for us for the next week so as not to have to venture out unnecessarily for any other supplies.  Anything to keep from exposing us and anyone else.
It's DS3's birthday on Friday, and thankfully I had thought to order a gift online last weekend, thinking things may all shut, and that has arrived today too.  It's also OH & my 17yr anniversary of meeting Friday.  Think it'll be a romantic dinner for all 4 of us at this rate :D I am going to bake a birthday cake for my son, so it's not all bad.... it's only taken a pandemic for me to go back to my baking  cakes again after a 6 year break (I had my own business).

Bubbs food looks lush as ever, but not sure your lunch would have kept me full up enough.  Trying to get whatever I can online, but stock is a bit iffy from what I can see on the website, and fully expecting to get a lot of non-deliverables.
