Our shops weren't too bad about 1pm.  Not much on the shelves but got everything on my list in Morrisons apart from freezer bags which I managed to get in Mr Ts!  Didn't need any fresh stuff though, got that on Tuesday.  Hopefully that's us sorted for at least a couple of weeks or so.

Although I live in a big city, we only have one Morrison's and it's about as far away from me as possible. It's on the way to the seaside though so we might call there on one of our daily 'fresh air and exercise' trips. 😊

I've done my meal plan and shopping list based on buying fresh foods and other bits. If they're not available, I have Plan B based on the freezer and store cupboard. 😊

I'm still using up fresh food brought home from France so today is quite high Syn!

    So today's plan:

    B - toulouse sausage & onions in a toasted WM muffin - HEB + 6; S
    L - lardons & mushroom omelette, salad - P; S
D - chicken breast stuffed with brie, wrapped in serano ham; roast potatoes, roasted onion & pepper, Brussels, green beans - P; F; S; 4.5

    HEA - milk
    HEB - WM muffin
    Syns - toulouse sausage (approx 100g) 6; brie (approx 15g) 4.5 = 10.5

My consultant did an online Image Therapy group yesterday and said that no one will lose out, ie Countdowns will be extended provided you return when groups reopen, no one will lose access to the website and there will be no back fees for anyone who pays again as long as they go to group as soon as they reopen.

Keep safe everyone.  We can do this.

Hello everyone - hope everyone is keeping safe and well.

I have gone to pot :flushed: I'm finding the sight of empty supermarket shelves really stressful even though I do have plenty of food in - it just seems like something from a film. And my workplace is remaining open even though basically everything is cancelled and I have hardly anything to do so I'm bored and frustrated as well. WI tomorrow and then I really must get back on track because I was doing so well and was so proud of myself :pensive:

I have spiced carrot and lentil soup for lunch and going to make a quorn bolognese tonight. Will try to get out for a solo run at the weekend.

That all sounds very positive from SW, hope everyone is staying safe. I was thinking the other day about having some SW friendly storecupboard / non-perishable suggestions but then all the supermarket shelves got cleaned out and it's actually easier to just get fresh fruit and veg it seems!

Our SMs are even that good for fresh stuff!  I got some fresh veg on Tuesday when I came home but could do with more onions as only got a few left but don't really want to go to the shops again until I need at least a few things rather than just one or two!  Too stressful queueing for a long time for a couple of bits, although when I went to Morrisons around 1pm there were only a couple of people in front of me so wasn't actually too bad but they didn't actually have much in the way of fresh veg at all, the shelves were more or less empty!

Sounds like a Green day Tete so could have 2 HEBs as well as 2 HEAs if you wanted to!  I've actually bought some tinned fruit to use as HEB if I run out of things like bread, oats & Ryvita!  Haven't got any cereal bars or nuts so can't have those.

I'm going to brave the SM shortly so will report back on the situation locally. We're told the food supply should settle down but when??
I think if I were you I'd count the brie as a HEA denise. 😉

Haha it's not the HEBs that are the problem Denise (it's the chocolate) :flushed:

Only have the chocolate problem if I buy it, LOL! so just don't buy it very often.  I'm quite good at just eating one or two squares of dark chocolate.

I thought about that Maman but decided against it as I've got so much to lose to get back into target range so decided I'd count the Syns.  I usually have more than one HEAs worth of milk anyway!

    Good luck braving the SM!

Well done for counting syns denise. Brilliant willpower!

I'm amazed that I managed to get everything on my shopping list! I did my usual Aldi/Sainsbury shop. Aldi was brilliant, they had loads of fresh fruit and veg, even their Super 6. Tins and much of the meat was a bit empty but I didn't really need those. The only thing I had to go further afield for was eggs. I tracked some down in Waitrose, at a price. :frowning:

As well as the obvious health benefits from food, I was reading somewhere that having regular meals is helpful by maintaining structure in the day.  We've all had our routines disrupted by the pandemic so cooking/eating meals is something we can do to hang onto some normality.

    Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit, baked beans (F), fried egg (P), HEB toast, HEA milk
L- JP (F) with cottage cheese, ham (P), spring onion and beetroot (S)
D- Fake KFC (P) with SW chips (F), broccoli, asparagus, tomatoes, mushrooms (S)
    Syns- weekend wine
