I think you're right about sticking to a regular WI GTQ. Of course I understand that many people are very stressed by what's going on in the world but we all know that chocolate is a very temporary solution.
Hopefully many of the people who left mse because of the continuing bungled migration to the new site will come back.
When I looked at syns online this morning I got the message to the effect that I need to go to a group this week or access will be stopped. I'm hoping that's just a trigger from their software which will be updated. I might try emailing them.
I've got lentil and carrot soup to portion for the freezer. I'm going to keep some out for lunch and if that's not enough I have cold meat and pickles to go with it. Tonight I'm going to try the hash using a tin of stewed steak. It'll be a bit like a meat and potato pie but with horseradish. I'll report back on what it's like.
Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit (F), fried egg, bacon (P), HEB toast, HEA milk
L- lentil and veg soup (S,P)
D- beef hash (F,P,S) with cabbage and kale
Syns- horseradish 1

Afternoon all
How are we?
All coping? we have to think of the long term, so easy to put on, so while it's a struggle to get something there is always a way and no not a chocolate bar
I know it's easy for me to say as although i work i only work part time , but as i use something i am trying to replace it so my stocks are still full.(luckily i can afford to do it and appreciate not everyone can)

Thanks for the welcome homes from everyone! You're right Maman it definitely wasn't the holiday we wanted and am glad we got back even though it cost us extra financially to come home early.
Decided to go out and get some food as my little indoor freezer wouldn't be enough food for more than a week or so - had also run out of most veg. Frozen veg was really hard to find! Went to Iceland first thing and they didn't have any frozen veg at all but did manage to get some peas, green beans and stirfry veg from Morrisons. Got some stew veg, a cabbage and cauliflower as well. Couldn't get any frozen Brussels but did get a couple of packs of fresh so one pack has been blanched and frozen and the other pack will be used over the next few days.
Went to butchers and bought quite a bit of meat so should be OK for most things for at least the next month or so although will still need to go out and buy more eggs at some stage as what I have definitely won't last a month!
Today hasn't been completely on plan but dinner tonight is! Have decided I'm starting properly tomorrow, as that is my normal WI day. Will weigh myself at my usual time to see where I'm at. I've definitely put on weight of course but hopefully not as much as I was expecting if I'd been away for the month as planned!
Took some cooked steak & kidney out of the freezer which we'll have tonight with some mash and veg.
Off to portion the first batch of stew I've made. Think there should be at least 3 meals for both of us - one will be for tomorrow so at least 2 more meals into the freezer for later in the month.
Keep safe everyone.

Must be a sign that the nation's getting desperate if people are panic buying frozen sprouts! Yuk! 😞2

Didn't realise frozen sprouts were so controversial. I don't mind frozen sprouts but obviously prefer fresh. Green beans I actually prefer frozen to fresh. Have to say we thought people must be desperate because so many people say they hate sprouts, LOL!

Oh yes. Any sprout or kidney conversation is always controversial.😁2
