  • Another one bites the dust -1lb for me, very happy with that as was eating outside my control at weekend, so was trying to pull it back, which I must have done!

Group was very small, for obvious reasons, but was really chuffed for a new member. She knew she was going to struggle for her first week due to birthdays at weekend, so she didn’t start until   Monday. She was stunned to lose 9lbs, was really pleased for her.
A smile costs little but creates much :)

I wonder if SW will help the consultants with loss of earnings?

Yep I wonder too.....I have not  because of IT but my consultant actually paid for the franchise - so must hot her.
Goodness know when I will feel like going back, 10 years younger and no helth issues and I might not be too concerned because doing SW with you all really is a bonus.....but I find other things like hubby and him now working from home are really getting in the way.  Yesterday had hot cross buns and pizza...dispite my morning and lunch going on plan with double the amount of homemade veg soup ( in my mind this will take care of lunch form me)
    Sadly weight gain 0.5 lb.
At least no MIL this weekend so hopefully lots of walks and just trying to manage the evening meal!!!
So might not be around as much this next week.
Send me positive SW sucsess thoughts folks

    Morning all!

Sending hugs to Beanie and Penny, well done to GTQ and SW thoughts to Vegastare

I must admit I'm not feeling super focused this week. I work in education and we're constantly on tenderhooks waiting to see if we're closing, cancelling events and travel, it's all v busy and fraught. I haven't eaten REALLY badly but have had quite a bit of bread... I think this will be my first WI of 2020 without a loss.

I did a little panic shop last night, I couldn't help it I got swept up in it all! The only thing I really stocked up on was cat food as my own pantry and freezer have enough in to get by on if desperate. I did buy a few tins of soup though before remembering they'll have syns... there's a lot to think about: price, availability, perishability (is that a word?), meat-free, SW friendly... Anyway they only seem to be about 2-3 per can so that's not bad.

    Anyway, plan for today:
    B - Banana
D - Spiced carrot and lentil soup (homemade), WM bread
T - Hoping to do an aubergine and tomato tray bake - will have to check the recipe for syns, it includes things like harissa which I've not used before.
    HEA - Milk
    HEB - WM bread
Syns - Sugar (4), hot choc (2), whatever's in my tray bake... ??

Have a good day all, will report WI in the morning  :#

Be careful with the harissa Tete if you've not had it before - it can be quite hot!

Have moved about 40 miles further south and now in the Lorient Department.  Nice little town, parked up near a big lake.  Weather good at the moment too so that's a bonus.

Except for my weekly trip to Aldi, I tend to stock up in all the other shops I go to as I don't visit them very often. Last week, I bought 12 tins of beans in Waitrose but that's not unusual at all as I only go there every 6 weeks or so. I did feel guilty though. Usually, I do my meal plan by 'buying' from my freezer/cupboards before buying anything new but I think I'll buy fresh today rather than deplete stocks.

My birthday yesterday wasn't at all as planned. Fortunately I'm not a comfort eater so although I was miserable as I should have been on holiday I did stay on plan until the evening. I won't make you drool by going into the details of my off plan Italian meal but it was delicious!:D

    Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit, skinny syrup (F), HEB porage with HEA milk
    L- sardines (P), beetroot (S)
D- Fake KFC (P,F), SW chips (F), tomatoes, mushrooms, green stuff (S)
    Syns-  Weekend Wine:D

Happy belated birthday Maman.  5hink I've probably missed a page or two of posts as getting a good signal isn't always easy.

Have got some of the LO beef stew out but don't think it will defrost in time for dinner so will probably  have something using tinned stuff and have the stew tomorrow (and the next day!).
