....sadly they dont suggest a bottle red wine per day....I could go for that one :)
    Me too!
That'll teach you to take a peek midweek tete! But keep plodding, as even if it is water retention, it'll all come good in the end.

Thanks for the update. You're not far from Chartres denise. I like it there. especially the cathedral.

I got an attack of munchies last night. That's rare for me but sometimes happens when we have to eat early in the evening. I'm used to eating at 7.30 p.m. ad any earlier messes me up. I had 2 Ryvita with some cheese (HEA2?) and a banana so could have been worse.

The corned beef hash was delicious last night. I'm counting it as about 8 syns (shared with DH) as I cut off most of the visible fat. I was wondering whether I could make something similar with different meat like mince or stewed steak as it's the horseradish that really sets it off.

    Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit, skinny syrup, banana (F) HEB porage with HEA1 milk
L- LO hash with pickles (F,P,S)
D- SW Bolognese (P,S) with tagliatelle (F) and HEA2 Parmesan
Syns: not counting any as hash syns were yesterday.

There's definitely a hash made with mince.  Not sure if it's on the website or whether it was in an old magazine.  I've not tried it though so no idea what it would be like.

Yes we're not far from Chatres, we came past it on the way here.  We need to find a motorhome place as we are having a problem with the water cover so want to and get a new one.  Don't think we will be able to find anywhere to park in Chatres but if we can will try a d visit the cathedral.  I love looking at the stained glass windows in churches and cathedrals.

The windows are stunning in Chartres cathedral denise, well worth a look if you can get a parking place.  I'm sure you know this but I've often seen motorhome spaces in public car parks in France (Arromanches comes to mind) and I'd have thought they would be quiet at this time of the year. I'm enjoying your trip, hope you are.

I bought a tin of stewed steak today to give a different hash a try. I'll put it on the meal plan and report back. I thought it would be useful anyway for stocking up against coronavirus.  I'll ask my friend Google about one with mince.

Maman didn't get into Chartres as had to bypass it to get to MH place.  We often park up in carparks, even stay overnight in them sometimes!  We've moved on to a little village called Marboue.  Only a bar, Baker & kebab place in the main road.

The hash with mince is on the SW website, I checked after I posted yesterday.  We're having a cauliflower cheese tonight with sauteed potatoes, using up some pre boiled potatoes.  Bought the cauliflower in the market at the last place we stayed.  It's a huge one so should be enough left as a side for another couple of meals too.
