Well done GTQ, that's a brilliant loss plus being SOTW and winning the raffle.  I also won the raffle this week, it was in 2 parts - a notebook & pen in a giftset (which I've put away in my presents cupboard and I'll never use it!) and a divided lunchbox which I gave to my friend who was eyeing it up before the raffle was drawn, again something I wouldn't use.  It was only big enough for one person and if we ever have a picnic we need a much bigger box than that little one, LOL!  More like a picnic basket, LOL!!!

What sort of tofu are you planning on putting into the stroganoff Tete?  I had a recipe for something (can't even remember what it was now) for silken tofu and couldn't find any! so had to give that a miss.  I still haven't tried it but it's something I intend trying at some stage if I can manage to find some.

I did better than that, got an apple corer, which I had wanted and kept forgetting to buy, a small colander, badly needed and and egg slicer, have one, so will gift it somewhere, so not bad! For some reason, I forgot to take something for SOTW basket (the amount of times it is only my contribution) so winning a microwavable soup container (or whatever they are called) was an additional bonus.

Well done to all the losers, everyone seems on a positive roll at the moment!

  • Hello, quiet on here today!

Delighted to report a 2.5lb loss, my 1.5 stone award AND my Club 10 [insert jumping for joy emoji]

Next little goal is to lose 2lb to take me to my weight when I quit teaching in 2015 and first started SW. I have been lower than that since, but steadily gained an extra couple of stone on top so it feels like a good milestone to pass.

I've just had some leftover mushroom stroganoff for lunch with a bun (HEA), going to do my meal plan and shopping list now so not sure what's for tea yet. Hope everyone's having a good weekend and enjoying Leap Day (we should get an extra bank hol every four years for this IMO) xx

Meal out last night was pretty good - baked cod loin on crushed new potatoes, wilted spinach & peas - probably a couple of syns as the potatoes were tossed in butter.  There was a balsamic dressing but I asked for that on the side and didn't use it as it just didn't need it.  My friend and I shared a baked Brie with crusty bread for dessert, no idea on Syns.  It was OK but not something I'd bother with again as it was too melted and very salty.

Today has been more off plan as my friend and I were out at a sewing show.  We ended up in M&S and had a duck & hoisin wrap so definitely syns there.  Also had a latte so that took care of one of the HEAs.

Tonight's dinner will be a HM fish pie.  Have a new sauce recipe to try which will only be 0.5 HEA for cheese and 1 tsp cornflour shared so will ignore!

    Look what I found!!
    Congratulations tete

Sorry to hear you've had such a tough week tie. Do you ever think about looking for another job? Yours seems to create so much stress and anxiety. Is it worth it?:(

Meant to say bubbs that it is definitely 8 weeks for target members to go to WI before you get thrown off the website. Are you home for picky tea tonight? :)

I'm in a quandary about WI. If I go this week and I'm out of range I can't go the week after because we're away and you can't book a holiday in grace week AFAIK. If I leave it until 19th then I'm definitely going to be out of range after my holiday. I'll probably do that and if I have to pay then so be it. While I don't like paying, SW has made very little out of me in recent years so I don't begrudge it to my consultant. That's why I almost always take something for the SoW basket too.

I've made some swede & carrot mash this afternoon, some for tomorrow and some for the freezer. I've also defrosted one of my freezers and redone my inventory so very pleased with myself. o:)

    Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit (F), scrambled eggs (P), HEB toast and HEA milk for drinks
    L- ham (P), bubble & squeak (F,S), beetroot (S)
D- Aldi chicken curry (P,S) with HM pilau rice, SW chips (F) and extra mushrooms and peppers (S)
Syns- HP sauce 1, curry 1 (actually less as it's 1.5 for the pack), weekend wine;)
