Wish we could go out of town, dad has a delivery to make 12 miles away and a pick-up 23 miles away but does not have a good enough reason to do either under current restriction rules

Finally took down the paper bunting I made out of thin, coloured card and recycled string for VE Day! It survived the downpours, sort of, but the recent winds had blown a few of the triangles off, so I decided it needed binning, as it was bin day.

The teddies in my windows are still waving their mini home-made Union Jacks, though! And they are the right way up! 😀

Dad's Polar bear is hiding under the desk upstairs after there was a single clap of thunder about an hour ago, I wasn't sure so I only went as far as halfway up the stairs.
Back in the groove again now and hoping that we can get out a walk between the showers.

Dad got the new leaflet from NHS Scotland about Test & Protect and what to do if he gets the symptoms but there is nothing in it or on the website about how to cope with an active dog while he is isolating at home for 2 weeks.

These officials just do not understand real people :(

Dad is watching the new Roswell thing on ITV2 but is on the point of giving up due to it being filmed mostly in the dark.

    Hello :)
A bit damp around the edges this morning and warm with it, should dry up later though.
I am in the doghouse this morning, I caught a baby mouse over at the park and carried it all the way home before dropping it (dead) on the front step and then when dad forced back the bile and bent down to pick it up for disposal, I rushed over and gave him a kiss, he was not best pleased :s

Morning.  Duncan that is no way to carry on.   Fairy_across_The _Mersy great to have your Meds delivered.  A friend is collecting DH’s today.  Yes it’s going to be hot this week.  We enjoyed eating out in garden yesterday.

Should have called me in. I don't mind dealing with gore. I find anatomy interesting. Even spilled-out anatomy. 😁

I'll remember that next time (I catch a lot of mice) Dad can be a bit squeamish before he has had his breakfast
