Good afternoon
Well done Round!! It is not easy to let these things go, especially when you have had them so long. Now, if you can do that, surely I can shred some old bills and bank statements!! Or maybe even my old pay slips!! ROFL
Since getting home DH has gone on a long run (13 mils to his Mum's, where DS & DD2 are and they are bringing him home. I have been enjoying the peace. I have eaten some junk, emptied the food bin into Lottie the hottie (60 degrees! She is hot!!), poo picked in the garden, cleaned the toilet & sink in the utility, emptied the TD (DD2 over filled it - I will have words) and refilled with wash that DH put on before he left. And that is about it!! I need one of Round's little lists to get me going.
Round 1
sweep dining room
shredding (fill shredding bin x2)
vac LR (after the shredding)
Ok - that'll do until I get more inspiration.
12 -
Evening all
Paid stuff done
quick vac of ground floor done
s/s kitchen, utility and downstairs loo
wiped lounge furniture over with damp cloth, still quite a bit of dust appearing from the bathroom, even with doors shut in between!Loaded towels in to washer and set to swish, will TD them as rain forecast for next couple of days.
DH is out this evening, I’ve just had a bowl of soup for my supper and am now going to sit with my book and maybe some knitting for a couple of hours.
back tomorrow x12 -
I completed Round 1 (*insert jumping with joy emoji)
I also swept the hallway, cleaned the WM filter and dispenser drawer. Yuk!!
I managed to fill up the shredding bin 3 times. I think one of my problems is that I have interest statements from the bank that clearly state 'Important document Do Not Destroy' But I really don't think I need a statement telling me I had 11p interest from 2000-1 tax year!!
Couch 2 5K tonight - I'm really not feeling it! I had better get ready....

Evening all!Sorry to have been MIA - another one who finds that unless I'm on the PC, that the forum just isn't the same or as user-friendly as before.Well I'm still trying to get over an awful cold/cough/laryngitis. I've had it for nearly 2 weeks now, and it's really taking it out of me. Sleeping is really hard as I can barely swallow by the evening (not helped by a busy day of paid work on Friday in 2 different year-groups), and as soon as I lie down, I start to cough. The storms have also not helped. Gutted to hear that another one is on its way.Today DS1 (7) helped me out with the flying. He emptied the dishwasher and put it all away and cleared his crafting table that is at the side of the kitchen/diner so that we can potentially dust as it has been neglected for a while and tends to become a hotspot. I've done a load of washing, which is out in the TD and I'll put it away in a minute. Will go over the worktops etc after DH has cooked the dinner (no point before as he's quite a messy cook). It's half term here, but this week already seems to be full of appointments. Tomorrow I have to go and look after my niece at my Mum's house so that my Mum (her official babysitter) can go to her pilates class. So I'll have a nearly 1-year-old, plus my 3-year-old and 7-year-old to entertain there. Wednesday we have a paediatrician appointment for DS2, and Thursday, I'll be at my Mum's again to look after my niece and nephew on top of my own boys as she's going out to walk someone's dog (nephew is 3 as well). Feeling rather peeved that I'm not going to be able to just spend time with my boys doing fun things or even just have a lazy morning where we don't have to get out of our pyjamas until lunchtime etc.Well enough moaning, and a little more flying needed. DS1 has been promised time on the computer to reward his efforts.Hugs, get well, stay safe and happy flying everyone.sexymouse xEnjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/201712

Good grief, this is flaming ugly and clunky, isn't it? It's like we've moved from Windows 95 to Vista. And about as functional, too.
Much love to all who are fighting through the rubbishy reregistration process and can get past the simply hideous colour scheme.
Plodding on as usual - I'm off work this week whilst himself has valiantly taken on six days' work. So I spent today doing precious little, as I did quite enough cleaning at the weekend - bed, bedroom, bathroom, stairs - that kind of thing. And I actually put some clothes away, too. Along with chucking some that were just worn out - probably should go and buy some more now.
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll14 -
Right finally got some flying done, not sure where last week went but on a mission to get everything organised this week. I aim to sort and tidy at least one cupboard or drawer everyday.

Evening all
I’m so late in that there are lists for 2 days up! I’m frantically catching up on the tablet now...
Glad that you’re safe and dry, Dizzy.
Well done Round!
It’s been a full day at work, then home to cook dinner, tidy the kitchen up a bit (really needs the Level 1,2 AND 3 treatment atm), sort out washing for tomorrow (day off), and tick Renew House Insurance off the list. Shopped around a bit, changed providers and saved £60 ( insert “Happy Martin” emoji here!).
Tomorrow is a non-work day, usually a flying day, but as it is half term, DD seems to have plans that involve me taking her somewhere, doubtless to spend money. I have made a list of flying jobs that I want to get done tomorrow anyway, so I’ll be back here in the morning to keep myself in line.
Have a lovely evening, all.11 -
Ai the outlaws.. let's just say some things don't ever change.. Dot was her usual self and asked SIL why she is fat (she isn't!) and asked if she has a baby in her tummy (she hasn't) so she was again asked why she is fat.. We discussed 'polite' and 'hurting someones feelings' but she really does not understand at all.
Just watched the new Dumbo.. that was poo! Wish I hadn't bothered.
erm.. that's it really..
ty for Fred of course.. still don't like the lay out/lack of smilies and that's about as far as I have got.
Dizzy.. 2 storms heading in (Ellen and Francis I believe)... have you considered living in an ark? Stay safe chicky! x
OH skedaddled off to his friends so here I am.. by myself.. might as well go to bed tbh.
