It worries me that you were here in February then August and haven't mentioned that you've submitted YOUR Witness Statement and evidence.  You were meant to do that in August, not less than 14 days before that first hearing that was then adjourned.  Did you?

If not, you must do it now, like Gladstones have, and you know what to do and what a WS and evidence looks like because the NEWBIES thread shows you one.  Of course they mention ParkingEye v Beavis...this is not new.

You've been here long enough to have read umpteen dozen other court threads over the months (we read umpteen dozen every week!) and learnt from them as well as revisited the NEWBIES thread.
OK Thank you, I will look at the newbie thread again,

All these dodgy legals quote the Beavis case hoping it will scare you.
Do Gladstones really understand about the Beavis case ? ...... THEY DON'T ..... if they did they would not be adding fake amounts to their claim

The stuff Gladstones come out with is now so boring, they really do need to change their copy and paste

Gladstone's always mention that they won't be attending , doesn't change the fact that someone else probably will

The Beavis case is ALWAYS trotted out , no surprise there

Being absent for months on end means you miss important and repetitive information , so read other court case threads from 2020 , especially those that are concluded , like we do !!

Apart from telling us the Court date , you haven't told us anything worth reading or organising an informative reply

I see nothing new in this case , it's been done numerous times before where Gladrags are involved for IPC members

    OK, points taken.
Original court date was 23 Seprtember 2020, but postponed due to covid. So did nopt bother getting a WS or Defence together, which is something I am now clearly looking into.
MCOL has now finished, so nothing more to do there. This was my defence
'Part of the said road in question of where alledged offence occured, has not been accesible to the public since January 2018, and continues to remain closed, and access is only possible via a manned security gate, due to the said road forming part of a building site. As an engineer working on the site carrying out vital emergency electrical repairs, I was allowed through the security gate, therefore did not enter into any contract via any sineage'

I am now looking at RobertCox999 template to produce a WS. Which I undestand I need to submit the court and Claimant 14 days before the court date, so I have a little bit of time. Just making sure that I have not missed any steps from MCOL stage to providing WS. The Claimant has provided a WS, do I send my WS to this person or the Company (UKCPM)
Thank you for you kind help, I do appreciate it, and indeed respect the fact that many questions have been asked multiple times, and can be somewhat frustrating to the many very good posters here.

If that is the whole of your defence, you are going to have your work cut out to rescue it.  Your witness statement will have to have an explanation of why you attended and why you were given permission to enter via controlled access and who gave you permission.  All backed up by evidence.  Is it possible (at this late stage) to get witness statements from whoever let you in the gate?
You submit your witness statement and evidence to the court and to the claimant, whoever is named on the original N1 court claim form.

Looks like Im doomed then, however I will still submit WS, and defence.
One possible loss, is not such a bitter pill.

What do you mean submit your defence?  Have you not already submitted it?  Do you mean to send it as part of your bundle?  You are not in a hopeless situation, you just have a lot of work to do to make the witness statement as strong as possible without introducing new defence points.

    OK, thanks
Something that I thought was going to be straight forward as to just to show at court, is now possibly going to take up too much of my time, so I have to weigh up the time it will take me to get a WS together, against the cost of £250.
After looking at some templates, which have been put together expertly, I feel they dont fit my case, and indeed a lot of editing involved, with 'exihibit' evidence, seems rather challenging, and my time will far exceed the claim.
Having said that, I have not totally given up yet, and will make the other party spend more time on this case, as surely thier costs most be fast approaching £250 albeit cut and paste.
It is indeed wrong, and been enlightening how these rogue wretched companies work.
Going forward, I will be much more prepared. This incident is just shy of 23 months old now. (March 2019).
I would like to thank the input of the genuiune posters trying to help my cause.
    I welcome any further comments
