Very unexpected email this morning to say that the last query is resolved and to set a completion date to allow 5 working days for funds to come in from the lender. I can’t believe it after having my rant on here last night1

saved money in these challenging time.
So thankful to the estate agent who worked with me at hassling the lawyers.

@renfirsttimebuy great news! We’re hopefully exchanging and completing on Thursday, fingers crossed! Then I’ll be onto the renovation forums on here1

@120624 so happy to hear...
We were suppose to renovate but we have decided to hold tight for now. Hubby has been furlonged but such uncertain times we are thinking it's not wise. Taking advice from here too - get to know the house and then make decisions.
Wish times were different and we could do what we planned!1 -
I want to do a few things with mine, the list grows daily but I'm prioritising the order, working to a budget while saving up again. I had never planned to do it all in one go but had a 5 year plan. The one bedroom has been repainted white, the rest of the walls touched up, got one other little section to paint white. Will see how much I've leftover and redo a room at a time. My priority is getting the garden done and it's already coming along nicely.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.2
