Can anybody tell me how to quote a post o comment on it? i used to highlight it and click on the quote button nder the post but that has dissapeared.

OK - it's the .Container class which is forcing the limit on width:

.Container {
margin: 0 auto; 

max-width: 1272px;
padding-left: 18px;
padding-right: 18px;
}

I've not worked out how to override it yet.

I feel its the viewport thats doing it width=200px but I could be wrong , just an observation though, and I can't yet work out how either

Not really cheating. That's the full width of my browser on a 27" monitor. Even then it's a little big for the forum. I don't change it for any of my web pages, so, that's how MS looks on my monitor.....Yes, If I put it at full size (which wouldn't be very sensible) there would be a bit more space on the edges.

Same here very frustrated as always use ipad  to log in MSE daily as do not desktop on a daily basis. Can log in with android and desktop.  With phone it is a pain to browse. I guess the ipad 4 is not compatible with the new forum.

Did you read the banner at the top? There is a link to reset your password.

Extra tip to inrease the size of the badges:

forums.moneysavingexpert.com##.flair-item img:style(height: 30px !important;width: 30px !important;)

and this hides the signatures

forums.moneysavingexpert.com##.Signature:style(visibility: hidden)

I don't know why some rules need "!important" and some work without it.

Edit: just found the option to disable signatures in the profile settings.
