Jeez this site is painful to view - so much white and does not seem warming and welcoming like the last version!  Very robotic.  Also, why can i no longer hover over titles and get a balloon showing the post content?
Please:

• Offer the option to change the skin of the of the site
• Bring back the topic balloon summary

I haven't bothered reading or posting here for quite some time now as it doesn't seem fun anymore!

It’s been interesting, because I’m finding out that there are features I didn’t know existed!

The hovering over thread titles was news to me, because since I’ve been on MSE, I’ve only ever had an iPad, and hovering with your finger doesn’t produce that effect! 😄😄😄😄😄

Click on your profile picture and select ‘Edit Profile’.
In the Edit Profile page, select ‘Notifications Preferences’ from the list on the left.
On that Preferences page, there is a list of tick boxes for emails etc. Just untick any boxes regarding emails, and pop ups if you don’t want them either.

Surely just 'Unbookmark'ing (near top of page on a PC) would be a better way for a single topic?

 when you reply to a new thread, the website doesn't bookmark it automatically which the old system did. 

Also all my folders have gone of saved articles which are useful for quoting

You have to turn your phone to landscape on autorotate to see the time / date stamp.

Leave your phone upright and it's only above the thread title.

Nope.  Neither portrait or landscape work on my mobile, but MSE obviously know about mobile issue, as mentioned above they've still got it on their to do list (dunno when tho'  ).
