Hi all,
Firstly thank you all for the forum it’s been really helpful up till now and I’d be clueless otherwise. My main question here is how do you know if they are going to pay the £25 court fee and actually turn up? Letter states they have until the day before but you wouldn’t know until you get there?
Out of interest also, how many people actually loose a case? I’m not holding out much hope!
Thanks again

more info please ....who is taking you to court ?0 -
Total parking solutions, over stay in an Aldi car park.0

Any ideas? I’m booked in for the morning.0

What details do you require to answer how likely it is they will pay the court fee and actually show up for a £200 “charge”?0
-
if its in court this week the court fee has already been paid, the defence and WS have been filed and all that is required is people turning up in court
its far too late to do anything about it if its in court tomorrow or on friday
a jobbing legal rep is usually tasked to turn up in these cases0 -
The last communication I received was December. I’ve not spoken to anyone since or had any further confirmation. I’ll phone tomorrow before I leave to ensure the fee has been paid and they are turning up.
I’m not asking for advice what to do just whether in these cases they don’t pay the fee.0 -
sometimes the fee isnt paid , but then you should not have a court date , they dont work for nothing
contact the court and find out , nobody on here can help you0 -
The last letter had booked a date and time. It also had the instruction for the claimant to pay the fee before 4pm the day before - so this is no proof as to whether it was concrete or not.0
-
then you must telephone the court and ask
normally they are told to pay the fee weeks and weeks before, not the day before0
