'magnificent Crusader fortress which is wheelchair accessible'
A google review, apparently without any sense of irony.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?4 -

However, whenI first read your post, my first thought was that the ‘Crusader Fortress’ was an urban 4x4! Hahahahahahahahahaha!
The News this morning re. The Virus is depressing.
However, two months ago I was dithering whether to book a special interest holiday in the north of England, one which I’d booked and paid for last year, but at the last minute was ill and couldn’t go, so lost £500, which was half the cost.
I had been planning to go this year, but to fly up with Flybe, rather than drive.
Well, in the end, I decided against going on the holiday, even though I really wanted to, due to an as yet undiagnosed health problem currently being investigated. I was worried that if I felt under par, the same thing would happen.
This morning’s news re. Flybe made me very glad I had decided against booking it. Very sad for Flybe, though.
I had also booked a day workshop in April for the same interest, 2 hours drive away, but have more or less decided not to go. That’s only a £56 loss, though. Still upsetting, though, as this interest is something I really, really enjoy, but haven’t done much of for several months.(I just lurve spiders!)

It's always strange when you view a house you didn't want.... and then see it marked as sold. It makes you question whether you were being churlish, or ridiculous.
I'm still convinced, luckily, that I feel I made the right decision.
Sold in the last couple of days: 1/ the black rendered ex-LA house, on the market <2 weeks. 2/ the one I had to drive through a flooded/rutted private lane to reach. 3/ the new-build bungalow that was "all wrong" for me. 4/ the do-er upper at full budget price so £0 left to spend on it. All four were in the right area, just the wrong houses... *sighs*.
And now it's tipping it down out there, so bad weather on top of not feeling able to find somewhere I actually want/like that's in the right area.5 -

**Forty years ago, when I was looking to move out of London, I spent three months looking in ‘my preferred town’, but couldn’t find anything I liked in my price range. In addition to that, nothing ‘felt right’: not the locations, the atmosphere, or anything. Those gut feelings stopped me offering on anything within my price range.
So, I decided to look further afield............booked a series of viewings in a town 70 miles from that initial ‘preferred town’. On the first day of the weekend of viewings in that other town, possibly the 4th or 5th house I viewed, I saw the house I am in now. It felt right. I sort of ‘knew’ as soon as I saw it, before I had even gone into it. Location, style, price, but most importantly, ‘atmosphere’. I made an offer there and then, even though I had other properties to view.
This was in a town I had never, to my knowledge, been in before, yet as soon as I stepped out of the railway station and started looking round, it felt ‘right’, compared with three months of looking in the other town, which never felt right at all.
The house wasn’t perfect, by any means....there were things to sort out.......but I am still there, **forty years on.
(And there are still things to sort out! Hahahahahahahahahahahaha! Procrastination RULES, ok? )
** edit..... correction... 34 years ago. I’m not that old!(I just lurve spiders!)

My wife was due to see the dentist on Monday, but they phoned up to cancel that morning. It turns out that he has Covid19. He’s in the local paper. No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?5

PasturesNew saidMy dentist's booked for end of this month some time, I was wondering how things would pan out with that....
) but also have ME which I assume counts as another condition... Also have breath probs too, though they don't actually affect me much since am too knackered to exercise in any way.
When it comes to Dentist, I'm not sure yet. I have a load of work needs doing on my teeth. But not sure what to do - if tooth ache happens I'll deffo go, but not sure if it's just getting stuff fixed. I'll wait and see I guess.4
