We accepted an offer on our  house about three weeks ago so we've got two moves to make this year.  Renting whilst we finish our self build and then back here, but 30 metres away. 

If you don’t want/to lose the bookmark, you can turn off email notifications on your profile page.
Click on Edit Profile, then on Notification Preferences, then untick the boxes which are allowing email notification.

It does sound like the most promising one for some time. Plus I think the layout would work for you, which would be a bigger issue to fix than plastering/decorating. Did you like the house in general?

I kind of did.... on the basis I've seen several/many and most haven't been in the right area... 
I wanted something a bit smaller really though .... and a bungalow .... 
 
I think this is likely to be "the best you'll get here, at about this price" - and 95% of those I see need this same work doing.  
The original spec was a modern bungalow... not a large ex-LA house that's 60-70 years old. 
I'd really have no need to go upstairs ... all space that'd exist, but I'd have no use for.

Fit one of the bedrooms out as a kitchen, then you could have a first-floor flat with a really big basement

That's a snazzy bathroom!  I was just going to go with bog standard white  
It minimises my decisions and minimises my chances of getting to the end, having paid a lot, and realising I chose badly/got it wrong

Just been through part of my stock cupboard.
I stocked up with nuts, seeds and some dried fruit before Christmas in case of a Brexit shortage of things I liked. I found I have five packs of figs and one of prunes that need to be eaten before the end of March.

I won’t waste them; they will get eaten, but I might not be able to go out much.

There’s a special offer on right now of low cal yoghurt packed with artificial sweetener with a mild laxative effect. Mild if you have one, less mild if you have several.
