I managed to accidentally switch on notifications for this thread so I've had about 20 emails just this morning. I've had to quite quickly learn to switch them off again! I think it's the little bookmark tag when you're on a desktop as it was blue but now it isn't. I'll find out soon enough! No idea how I did it from my phone. It's a handy little feature if you've started a thread.
Good luck, PN. It does look like a lot of house for the money.
We accepted an offer on our house about three weeks ago so we've got two moves to make this year. Renting whilst we finish our self build and then back here, but 30 metres away.

I wanted something a bit smaller really though .... and a bungalow ....
I think this is likely to be "the best you'll get here, at about this price" - and 95% of those I see need this same work doing.
The original spec was a modern bungalow... not a large ex-LA house that's 60-70 years old.
I'd really have no need to go upstairs ... all space that'd exist, but I'd have no use for.5 -

That's really nice, Nikkster. I particularly like the washbasin! Lovely to "see" you, but sorry about your latest news x
PN I think you should go for it. The thing is, there isn't a perfect one.
Doozergirl That sounds hard work! It's great that you're building your own new home though

That's a snazzy bathroom! I was just going to go with bog standard white
It minimises my decisions and minimises my chances of getting to the end, having paid a lot, and realising I chose badly/got it wrong6 -
Just been through part of my stock cupboard.
I stocked up with nuts, seeds and some dried fruit before Christmas in case of a Brexit shortage of things I liked. I found I have five packs of figs and one of prunes that need to be eaten before the end of March.
I won’t waste them; they will get eaten, but I might not be able to go out much.(I just lurve spiders!)

There’s a special offer on right now of low cal yoghurt packed with artificial sweetener with a mild laxative effect. Mild if you have one, less mild if you have several.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?6
