Love Southwold but 'usable all year round'? There's no sign of water or electricity.

It is usable year round; one could just as well sit there in December wishing that one's shed had electricity and gas as one could in June.  It truly is undesirable in all conditions.  

As an aside, a Transit van, a pair of deck chairs and a portable gas ring can be had for less than a hundredth of the price of the Southwold shed.  Parking said van at the end of the esplanade, opening the side door and setting the chairs up whilst the kettle boils up on the gas ring will provide a similar facility to the beach hut.  Makes one think...

A barge in London. Cheaper than a house, but I wonder how living on a barge works. I guess there are mooring fees etc.

For complicated reasons, I wanted to find the cheapest 3 bed semis in London. Not buying, just discussing. There are some strange things down the cheaper end of the market in London and other places that Rightmove think are in London.

I don't know what this looks like to other people, but to me this looks horrid.

The other property, er... not so much my thing, but I suspect it could be improved.

The seller of the barge doesn't seem to be able to make up their mind as to how much it is worth. I guess that they want Rightmove to send updates saying it has been reduced when it hasn't really.

That's the price of the barge if you bought it and sailed it away.  If you want the leasehold residential mooring then it's £795K

These big houses, and still people fill them full of ... as you say: stuff. I'm just as bad, but I aspire to more minimal living in the future.
