 Wokingham is lovely. The price is probably adequate.

I really like that, inside and out.  The architecture is more Antebellum South than Home Counties, making it more interesting to look at than the average.  The style may, in fact, be Arts and Crafts gone awry but the finished product just about hangs together if one ignores the side aspects.  In fact, who cares about the sides when one can sit on the verandah with a mint julep and a typewriter, composing circuitous and freewheeling Southern Gothic odes to the lazy, rolling currents and junk-palace paddle steamers of the, erm, River Kennet...

I could never use something like that - just too much for me who rarely cooks for more than one.
slightly off topic I know but I've always wondered are those big ranges efficient to use or are they expensive to run?

There is also a more modern range cooker, so I doubt the old fashioned one is anything more than decorative. Not quite sure why there is a curved sofa on the top floor facing the stairs.

Interesting difference in my response to the two photos of the dining room. The first one looks lovely, the second not so much.
