Hardly surprising with all that glass. Those glass links will be a fridge in winter and an oven in summer.Patr100 said:

Another example of our broken planning system. Could not get planning for an ordinary proper house looking house. Only got planning under section 79 for a "dwelling of unique and ground breaking architecture"ManuelG said:1 -

In fact she was quite scathing of the work they were doing and wasn’t optimistic they would double their money, but I guess if you wait long enough house prices do eventually catch up.
Now on the market for 2.3m, already reduced from 2.5m after only 2 weeks on the market.
Particular attention to picture 4, the small back garden containing a swimming pool that looks to be the width of the slide. Could be a re purposed duck pond.

It's just not very good, is it. From the takeaway kitchen chimney glued on the back to the paddling pool with pretentions in the back garden, the non-existent views, the ill proportioned garage (not deep enough), the entirely superfluous marooned bathroom on the first floor and the equally superfluous bedrooms on the second it just isn't very good.silvercar said:

Well if it's too rainy for using the pool, you can always sit drinking cocktails under the stairs.Ditzy_Mitzy said:

That is a really nice thing. I'd regret selling such a thing too, had I ever owned one. Funny what becomes desirable as time passes. The oriental rug isn't bad either, although my preference is for stronger colours.
