I should say that the overall design of the UK is the usual British crap, and there is no paved area to the garage.
It appears to be a 4 bedroom house with 4 loos and 3 bathtubes. Is this a new trend? Why not extend the bedrooms at the expense of en-suites, I wonder..  https://www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/131470265#/floorplan?activePlan=1&channel=RES_NEW

    Useful with teenage children.
You can get newbuilds with 3 bedrooms all with their own en-suite.

Huh? Cleaning 4 loos and 3 bathtubes is quite time consuming. I would rather spend time with children...

Compared to 2 toilets that will each be used twice as often so will need cleaning twice as often.

Boomerang kids who come home after uni want their privacy; hopefully they will know how to clean their own bathroom.

It doesn't work like that!  I clean the loo every time I use it, as everyone should, but I also clean the toilets 'properly' - full wash down with cleaner on the outside and bleach in the bowl - about twice a week.  A house with four toilets will need similar treatment, so that's between four and eight full cleanings of a toilet per week.  No thanks, I agree with @Emily_Joy

These spurious en-suites are today's equivalent to sinks in bedrooms.  Expect to see lots being ripped out in the near future, especially when the cheapo sanitary ware one tends to get in new houses gives up the ghost.

Maybe because people have to live with their friends to afford anything decent like that. Or maybe it's bait for buy to let.

Not sure I see the problem. It's a bit wide for a single car, but people put other stuff in their garage too.

At least it's wide enough for a car. Most new builds are too narrow to park in, unless you climb out the sunroof or the boot.

Access across the lawn if you want to use it as a garage..
