Locally listed, so you'd be hard pushed to get permission to demolish. And being located so close to a roundabout on a major, busy road, Highways Dept would most likely object to any development of the site.

It’s huge but not in a great location in Peterborough. Just off the old A15 which is still really busy.  On the satellite view the grass is mowed so perhaps was in a better condition not so long ago.

Have you got a wider picture or a source for this?
I'm struggling to picture why somebody would ever build such a bizarre combination of drains, even before the issue of the high ground level.
