Haha yes! It makes the view out of the windows actually look fake, as if they are just pictures stuck on the wall!peter3hg said:https://www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/128433734
This might be the peak of attractive outside and completely soulless inside.
Some of the pictures look like those artsy photos where only a certain object is in colour, in this case the outside world.0 -

Oh dear..... I'd be rushing out to buy as many brightly coloured rugs, blinds, curtains, throws etc as I could. It reminds me a bit of a close friend of ours, who, back when it was fashionable, had every wall and surface in his flat painted white. The friend who did the decorating for him took to wearing sunglasses after a while as he was going snowblind!

A picture of it in better days, with the get out clause that it's an 'Archive image, may not represent current condition of site'.Skiddaw1 said:

If you have nothing constructive to say just move along.5 -
It's got some great features! I mean, who wouldn't want a wall made of nougat in his or her room with bath in come (sic. vulgar Latin is too vulgar for MSE, it seems) ultralight hovercraft garage? There's a great view, a giant ashtray, a beanbag that appears to have been sat on by a sumo wrestler and a freestanding silver thing! Just don't turn the bath tap on full...Sesmo_k said:
Think the interior would match very well with this one. Absolute "50 Shades of Grey" McMansion- and I don't mean the smutty books.peter3hg said:https://www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/128433734

Goodness, wasn't it pretty! What a shame it's in such a state now.

That just shows how futile it is to persist in trying to preserve such a wreck.Skiddaw1 said:
If only they would de list the listing, and allow a replacement modern dwelling to be built to replace it, it would have probably sold for more as a building plot. There would certainly have been more people interested in that.2 -
If I had know it might lead to an invite up here I might have stuck with the Rainbows https://www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/128370593 Pretty lavish living. My guess, leader gatherings rather than hords of St Trinian types.3

Bit of a mish mash of tables & chairs for the group meetings - just feel they dont really fit in.Dandie89 said:If I had know it might lead to an invite up here I might have stuck with the Rainbows https://www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/128370593 Pretty lavish living. The last wooden tables look more in keeping, but the chairs look quite uncomfortable.0
