However, these modern auctions are evil in other ways. You're liable for the EA fees, whether you buy the property or not. You're supposed to bid without getting a survey or the legals done first. Then, if there's a problem with either of those, you can't buy, but you still have to pay the EA an enormous fee.
Just don't touch it with a 2m social distancing pole.

Window-shopping random places I've seen mentioned in the newspaper again. I like the look of this place. I wonder why it hasn't sold? Maybe too much grief dealing with the other freeholders and shared maintenance costs, gardeners etc?
