I am still amazed how many people have a conservatory off the main bedroom. Where I live now, there are 6 semi detached bungalows, and 4 of the other 5 built conservatories off the bedroom and some also connect to the kitchen.  I am not even sure it can properly meet fire escape regulations because in some cases the window was left in place and there is no direct route outside. the solution to me is use the bedroom in question as a lounge and repurpose another room into a bedroom.

It just seems to be a 'thing' with bungalows, and it is bonkers!

I want to know what the bucket is for?  On second thoughts........................

Slightly worried about the chandelier above the trampoline.

Perfect house if the entire family has IBS, I guess.
Not every house has a "void" on  the floor plan.

It means it's an open space looking down on the floor below, i.e it's a double height room.

Aka a waste of space and it could have been another useful room upstairs.

But then you wouldn't be able to have an indoor trampoline....

But then where would you put your giant trampoline?

    Outside, like every body else.

A real beauty with a couple of ropey bathrooms.
Bathrooms are nice, it's the rest of the house that needs redecorating for the 21st century.
Say it's paradise and put up a parking lot...

They work better if attached to the lounge or kitchen is at the back. I have seen several bungalows on the market where I live and have conservatories attached to the 2nd bedroom, which in my opinion, renders the 2nd bedroom a little less useful, as its like a corridor to the conservatory. You can't put as much furniture in the bedroom as require access to 2 doors.

A late relative had a dormer bungalow. They found the dining area a little tight so knocked the wall down and put a conservatory there.

The last time I went on train (in 2019) the train went past a row of houses backing onto the track. Most of them had conservatories on them!!! Why make your home be nearer to the tracks?

"Shower room" off the kitchen, with a toilet. Maybe they are really bad cooks.
