This is a beautiful house in a great location.

Oh my word, dream house! <3

Guess I'd better start checking the back of the sofa for spare change  :D
When I was a student I lived literally next door. Absolutely lovely area. Someone will be very lucky to get to live there.
You lived in the garage? Or you had a tent hidden in the botanic gardens? I can't see any next door properties or maybe i am missing something.

Nia, is this still your dream property now you know that there may be students living next door?
I googled it a while ago and actually literally doesn't have to literally mean literally any more. I lived in a flat facing the botanical gardens on that same street.

I'm not sure about the decor here.   But I try to keep my faith out of the bathroom:

That mirror in the bathroom is the most awful of the pieces in there.
The property maybe on the market for £1.25m, but certainly the furniture, pictures etc maybe worth that amount again

Then in pic 9 - got a garden reclining chair which came from B&M for £30

To be fair, the mirror has quite a lot of competition for the title of "most awful piece"! :)

That's a lot of money for a flat.

To be fair, it's a lot of flat for the money (we have seen other "flats" here which would fit into the large bedroom).

My mother was a student in Glasgow in 1938. Lovely, warm people, she said.

She took her driving test there, and they had to drive halfway across town to get to a set of traffic lights. When they got there the lights were green, so she was directed to drive round the block, and fortunately the second time round the lights were red.
That is so interesting. Where I grew up in a remote town in Northern Europe when I did my driving training we made a day trip so we could practice motorway and roundabout, but we had traffic lights closer!

Deceptively spacious kitchen if they can fit a snooker table in there:
