Yikes isn't that ceiling decoration a fire hazard?  I think that coffee table is actually the right way up looking at pic 3 but is is not an efficient use of space . The paint work is admirable...

Te location, above the shops is the biggest issue.

I believe that thing on the ceiling is what happens if you  let a Covid virus grow too big without cleaning the room.

That reminds me:  Ceiling fans. Were they a "thing" at one time? Seem to only see them in older properties.

PS - there used to be a wide enough beach to play rounders / cricket all along that coast
