So, some google bloke wanders through their offices with a camera on his shoulder, and all the workers just ignore him? That's bizarre. 

That's not actually how it works. If you want to be able to enter your business premises from streetview so you can look inside, you pay them to come and get the photos. Most people dress the space with some big company name / ad type posters.

I sometimes do random streetviews on MapCrunch. On the internal ones, I have seen couple of self storage firms advertising their different size lockable storage areas. One had a sign at the back of each one stating the size and another had the same sized box for comparative terms.

I didn't see the navigation buttons first time.  I just thought I was watching a you tube video and wondered why she was talking about the kitchen with the camera pointing out of the doorway,.

I bet I am not the only one to not realise you can pan and tilt the view?

Another one of those houses where you're not sure if the interior pics are in black and white at first. Must say I was relieved to see a bit of blue sky at the end..

Is it possible that some kind of filter is applied so that colour is removed?  House plants with grey leaves?  Only light brown wood (floors and window frames) being permitted.  TV screens depicted in monochrome.
