    Not far from us as it happens. I think it's gorgeous. It reminds me of a former pub we very nearly viewed when we were planning our move to Cumbria. It was up on the high land between Penrith and Alston and it was well spooky!

    It is gorgeous (we've viewed it) but we didn't buy it, for many reasons.

    I have a couple of questions here:
    1. Whats going on with the picture of the front of the house. Out of focus, too big, and just move the bins!! Why wouldn't you just move the bins?!? I just don't understand the thought process of vendors, or even some EA's when listing properties! 
    2. I think the phrase "fully refurbished" is a stretch a best, apart from the bathroom, which looks like it's been fitted out recently, but what's going on with the shower? Is it me, or is that the shower I can see through the mirror and if so, am I right in saying you'll be showering over a bucket?? I'm getting flash backs to Gavin and Stacey when they went to view that flat and Gavin is holding the shower head over Stacey's head, in the kitchen!!

    Given the location of the shower curtain I am guessing it's a wet room style set-up, and the bucket just happens to have been plonked there rather than being an important part of the process.

    And a desert of a rear "garden".  If that is the remnant of a child's swing, how sad not to have even a blade of grass or a square foot to try growing some flowers.

    Which kitchen? There's two!
    Think its the pink one. That's the award for most inappropriate stylewise kitchen for 2021. The 18thC grade II farmhouse needs a more deserving, traditional looking kitchen than something you see in a mill conversion flat.
