True.  And terraced in more ways than one.
Most important - spot the cat.
This is actually just down the street from me and I know this cat. When I first moved here I had an electrician doing some work in my main bedroom. As the electrician was leaving he told me he let my cat out, the "fat black one", he said. I was confused. Turns out this cat came in when the electrician got back from lunch, sat on my bed while the electrician was doing the job, pretended to live here, and then asked the electrician to let him out before being found out. I am just down the street and about 120% certain this is the same cat.

BTW, I think being terraced in this way brings the price down. This is very affordable for this area - houses same size on the next street - granted they're Victorian - sell for half a million.

I wonder if that cat doesn't actually live there either and just happen to drop in for the pictures...

Plus a bathroom. The property has three 'bathrooms' which doesn't work.
It's two really, it's just that the main 'bathroom' is rather bizarrely split across 3 separate rooms, one each for shower, loo and bath.

Maybe we need a new 'Has this cat slept on your bed?" thread.

A beautiful house but the picture in the bathroom made me chuckle!
God that kitchen  flooring is awful. So obviously fake.
    I think it's beautiful
Personally Iove wooden flooring and equally  hate laminate.
I much prefer wooden flooring too but I think laminate is still better than carpet and nowadays lots of laminates look pretty decent.

    And a garden by M. C. Escher...
That exposed brickwork in the kitchen isn't going to be clean.  We tile behind work surfaces for good reason.
My guess it's that it's not been long since it was painted. Or maybe they just wiped it every time after cooking

:') It's possible. He seems to be a very lovely cat and if I didn't have animals habiting the house already I'd happily welcome him here any time.

Almost every ceiling is down.  I suspect empty over winter, frozen then burst pipes, lots of water leaking and unoticed for some time.

I have worked on the renovation of a house that suffered this (much smaller house than this)  the remedial work is extensive.  Complete strip back to bare shell, industrial dehumifiers for weeks to dry it thoroughly, then a complete re fit inside, all new floors walls, doors joinery, kithcen and bathroom.
Don't think you can just put the ceilings back a lick of paint and move in, all sorts of problems like dry rot would probably be lurking and show themselves later is not properly stripped dried and reinstated.
My guess is it was not insured otherwise the insurance would be paying for a proper repair.

Odd that the sales particulars don't even state "in need of some repair"
