Why would you have 3 taps in the cleaners cupboard sink?
    Too hot
    Too cold
    Just right lol
    Hot unfiltered and undrinkable.
    Cold unfiltered and undrinkable.
Cold filtered & treated for drinking.

In the event of a nuclear/chemical/biological attack, safe uncontaminated water would be a valuable commodity.
Thats probably what the cup and saucer is for l. Wonder why they put it over the mop sink?

I guess the premises stopped being mopped long before they stopped having staff making tea there.

Some distinctly time warpy decor here (bathroom off the bedroom)
Still pricey for a complete refurb needed but it's near the trendy promoted "village " area of Walthamstow so someone is trying it on a bit.

Goodness, that does seem pricey for a house that needs so much work especially as it has only two bedrooms. Some of the decor is fab though isn't it? :)

One thing these old dated interiors suggest is something of the "secret lives"  that probably some older often vulnerable people  live, with no close relatives, perhaps rarely venturing out.  I wonder how little the neighbours, social services,   etc know of their threadbare circumstances, , until it is revealed when the neglected house is sold.

I LOVE the selling feature of the 10 of Hearts playing card left on the stairs and as for 'award winning Spar corner shop'... bring it on!  The garden is smaller than my lounge.....so maybe not such a bargain after all.

When houses are falling into a state of disrepair as is the case here that's probably correct, but where the decor is merely very dated but is still perfectly functional, it could just be the owner doesn't see any benefit in replacing the kitchen/bathroom/fire etc.

My late father was a case in point, he wasn't short of money (despite not being a home owner the value of his estate was in 6 figures) and he was generous towards children and grandchildren but persuading him to spend all but the bare essentials on himself was  virtually impossible.

Bless them, what an odd choice for an enticing 'lifestyle' shot!
Still the house isn't bad if you don't mind the tiny garden and no parking.

A lovely little house but I don't know why they include photos like this. A house on my estate was on RM recently and half of the photos were fancy shots of their furniture and wall canvases. Even had an up-close of their posh bathroom soap.
