And looks like the photographer is making heavy use of the HDR effect - so every single part of the image is in ultra sharp focus. There is no relief for the eye .NaughtiusMaximus said:

Another fine example of the well known phrase about money and taste. The HDR processing and fake sky through the windows did it for me. Had to stop half way through... It is an American property, so bad taste goes with the territory.
Any language construct that forces such insanity in this case should be abandoned without regrets. –

One thing I did learn in having the pics done for selling my house - and seeing other houses on sale - is that any clutter is amplified in the photographs even if , in real life in the room as part of your home, or as a visitor even , you barely notice things consciously, but not having them there makes a huge subconscious difference to perception. eg in your example, the folder on the chair , the plates in the drainer, the jars, bottles on the worktops.2 -
I absolutely hate the editing they've done on it and the "filters" they've used make it look computer generated!ProDave said:This one needs no narative(sorry it's a damned awful website to navigate)2 -

Pouring perfectly good money down the drain and creating hideous looking unlivable spaces0 -
I think the boiler room (if that is what it is) was the only acceptable space.NaughtiusMaximus said:
