Spot the dog, reassuringly alive in its third appearance.

it’s an old house, they had smaller windows than is currently the fashion. It could be made lighter with lighter furnishings and stripping the black paint off the beams, but it’s never going to be incredibly light; so not for everyone.

@horsewithnoname i posted for the cats and chickens but i quite like the quirky house although i am not sure why the roof looks so different between the different pictures. The room with the strange ceiling is open to the original thatch.

I decided the photos were taken several months if not years apart because the neighbours wall to the left hand side has vanished between one photo and the next on Streetview too plus the front wall has had something odd with bricks done to it where there should be stones. Basically, I don't think the current owners can afford to replace the roof or maintain the building but do agree that with copious amounts of tlc and money it would be lovely.

Did Rolf Harris used to live there? Lovely situation. If I had £2,000,000 to spend I’d buy it, mind I need the money to refurbish it as well.
I’d love to live by a river.0 -
Even if you had £2m to spend you couldn't necessarily buy it. It's going to auction later this week, and it may go for much more.

This had been on the market a couple years back and despite the notoriety of its previous owner, thought it would have sold eventually but didnt as his daughter was asking for £4 million,
