I think they have some Lucozade in the wine fridge

In the cellophane? That’s Cristal champagne 🍾
Yeah, Mum always gave me that when I was poorly as a kid.

If it is any consolation, fine wines (including vintage champagne) needs to be stored somewhere cool and dark. Glass fronted wine coolers just don't cut it. In addition, vintage champagne only has a shelf life of around 10 years when stored in ideal conditions. So despite the price, a 2015 Cristal is getting to the point of being meh.

Any language construct that forces such insanity in this case should be abandoned without regrets. –

Treasure the moments that you have. Savour them for as long as you can for they will never come back again.
  • Nothing too unusual in this modern and rather expensive house ..... apart from an "interesting" bedroom mirror setup. Not sure id be able to get to sleep

I have something similar-ish, but only four of my wardrobe doors are mirrored, out of six. It's not me that wanted that - it was my wife. I hardly notice them now that I'm used to them.

Given your comment I was expecting a mirror on the ceiling.

    Hmmm. "deceptively spacious" though.

Well camouflaged but eventually spotted, unlike the car in the garage.
Since when were glass walls for the garage a thing?

Showed my husband.  He is absolutely torn between loving something like that to gaze at his vehicle and knowing he would have to keep it a whole load tidier.

I suppose it might be a status display if you had a vintage/expansive  car to show off to visitors like a fancy showroom but since many people
do not use their garage for their car but store any old rubbish in there, it would hardly impress to show everyone the mess.
